Oops! Your 100% Electric Vehicle runs on Coal-Powered electricity.

I will say it again: I do believe that electric-powered vehicles will substitute internal combustion vehicles and they will be more fun to drive. But the Battery-Powered Electric Vehicles that we have now simply will not cut it and never will. The idea has always been not only to have a cleaner environment, but to surpass the old petrol engines in efficiency and power and batteries are simply not it and engineers have known this since the first electric vehicle rolled out in 1890.

An electric vehicle that can generate its own power and run cheaper and as long as a gas powered car is initial goal we should be fighting for. The expensive version of Barbie’s Dream Camper simply does not cut it.

Fuck Joe Biden: Natural Gas Episode

MTE members can expect higher than normal bills this summer as the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) Fuel Cost Adjustment charge remains up, thanks primarily to much higher natural gas prices.

“As compared to last summer’s bills, we calculate the impact of the higher TVA charges to mean an average monthly increase of about $12 for residential members,” said Chris Jones, MTE’s CEO. “If you consume more than an average amount of electricity, that amount will be higher; and if you consume less than average, it will be less.

“We wish that it were otherwise, but MTE has no control over the FCA. It is a direct pass-through, meaning that every penny we collect for this goes straight to TVA.”

TVA uses the FCA to help manage fluctuations in the costs of fuels it uses to generate electricity. The FCA has been steady for several years, but with global supply and inflation issues, the FCA has been higher the last several months.

“Increased natural gas prices is the biggest culprit,” Jones said. “TVA generates about 25 percent of its electricity by burning natural gas. Prices for natural gas are way up all over the world.”

TVA Fuel Cost Adjustment Will Add to Summer Electric Bills (murfreesboro.com)

Why? Among many reasons:

On June 2, 2022, the EPA proposed a new rule that would undo the Trump-era reforms. Under the rule, states can now exercise more flexibility when conducting their permit reviews and determine a “reasonable period of time” rather than a set period of one year.

Production is stagnating, but the growth of fossil fuels is not part of the Biden administration’s agenda despite natural gas being cleaner than coal and oil for energy production. “Burning natural gas for energy results in fewer emissions of nearly all types of air pollutants and carbon dioxide than burning coal or petroleum products to produce an equal amount of energy,” according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Despite proposing new rules to stonewall the American supply of natural gas, Biden wants to provide the resource to our European allies as they decouple from Russia. Domestic production is stagnating in the northeast because of pipeline projects being halted and delayed, but we are telling allies to rely on our liquid natural gas. Promises are being made that cannot be kept.

And let’s wait for winter when people cannot heat their homes unless they set them on fire.

Something will have to give.

Gym Fauna: Marking Territory is for animals and assholes

I love the specimen of gym fauna that spend unholy amounts of narcissistic times admiring themselves in front of the mirror.

Fine and dandy, there is a full wall that can accommodate about 60 more of you in the gym, but this territory marking shit?

This is very impolite. If you are not using the machine, let others use it, especially at that wee hour of the morning and doubly especially when it is the only machine of its type in the whole effing gym. I am glad your bra size is increasing from AA cup to A cup, but that does not mean you have to behave like wee cat and mark the equipment as your sole possession.

The only good thing is that shit like this allows you to identify assholes so you can stay away from them or take whatever avoidance methods are deemed necessary.

Miami ain’t San Francisco

Shoplifting will be stopped.

And the dumnbass is now facing an assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Biden’s economy is destroying your police and fire departments

First, law enforcement:

As gas prices surge, Michigan sheriff asks deputies to manage some dispatch calls by phone

With average gas prices at well over $5 a gallon, at least one Michigan police force says it is about to go over its fuel budget and is now asking officers to handle “whatever calls are acceptable” by phone.

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Office announced this week that it is “feeling the pain at the pump,” and has “exhausted what funds were budgeted” for gasoline with “several months to go before the budget reset.”

Local governments are experiencing the same pain as commuters and trying to make adjustments, Dan Gilmartin, the CEO Michigan Municipal League, said Wednesday. He added that the problem is likely to get even worse.

“They’re scrambling,” Gilmartin said of Michigan’s local governments.

County Administrator Nicole Frost confirmed Wednesday that 96% of the Sheriff’s Office’s fuel budget has already been spent — and there are still 3½ months of the fiscal year to go.

As a result, Main said he instructed his deputies to manage by phone whatever calls they could — which he identified as “non-in-progress calls, non-life-threatening calls and calls that do not require evidence collection or documentation.”

Budgets are exhausted and the price of gas is still rising.

What is next to be cut?  Patrolling?  Property crime investigations?

But it’s not just police, it’s fire too:

High gas prices affecting fire departments

Fire departments throughout the Wabash Valley are feeling the impact of the high gas prices.

They are responding to the issue by making some necessary changes. Fuel costs for fire-trucks have increased by 66% since February.

Although gas prices continue to rise, fire departments won’t let that stop them from making runs.

The fire chiefs of the Terre Haute and Honey Creek Fire Departments say the price is hurting their departments, but there’s not much they can do about it.

Both say they will be over budget this year due to high fuel prices. The fire chief for the Honey Creek Fire Department, Tom High, says they may have to cut back in some places to be able to afford fuel.

“We can’t restrict making runs. I mean that’s what we’re here for but we may have to restrict training, we may have to restrict building inspections and things along those lines so we can keep the fuel available for the incident” shares High.

No training and prevention.  Fantastic.

The Biden Administration is doing such a bang-up job that not just can you barely afford to drive to work, your municipal emergency services can’t either.

I called it this morning on Anarchotyranny

And thus it begins.

First, his press secretary is being forced down the whole unregistered foreign agent path.

Soon they will figure out how to arrest and charge his people one by one until they have some bullshit they can pit in him and take him out.

I said something like this would happen this morning.  I just didn’t think it would happen so soon.
