“Other features of the Henry Homesteader include a 16” threaded barrel, which is topped by a ghost-ring sighting system. The receiver is also topped by a Picatinny rail for mounting optics. Suggested retail pricing on the Homesteader starts at $928.“
In the meantime, at Gunbroker:
Nothing coming out of Henty is cheap, we know. But that is stupid pricing.
So it does less than a PC9 at 50% more money. Great marketing plan there geniuses…
It will come down considerably. Introductory pricing is high, the market will settle out.
Or it will be short-lived and become one of those “I-wish-they-still-made”s (mostly said by people who didn’t buy one when they could have. 🙂 )
MSRP starting at $XXX is meaningless.
Real street price will be (almost always) about 20-30% less. Then there are sales, etc…
For a Henry I’m rather disappointed that its a blowback action I expected something a bit fancier. Its pretty and I’d love one but you’re seeing more and more wooden stocks with great figure for the rugers now that they’ve got their chunk of the market.
