Hello my name is Jonathan Lucas. I am a 46 year old man, who chose not to get vaccinated. I have filed suit against my employer, case # 1:22-cv-00677, and am asking for financial support to help with legal expenses. I have been a Construction Inspector for 7 years. Throughout the entire pandemic , I faithfully performed my job duties for 2 years, while administration was teleworking from home . I was in and out of people’s homes and on job sites with close quarter contact. My employer provided nothing more than a neck gator and a paper surgical mask.

In January of 2022 my employer introduced a Vaccination Policy with the options of either being vaccinated or providing a religious or medical exemption.

On March 8th of 2022, I was placed on administrative leave WITHOUT PAY and remains my current status. This was my consequence for choosing not to get vaccinated nor submitting a medical or religious exemption
