The first few seconds after 1:33 are the important part.

Under that consideration, most if not all tools can be banned as we don’t use them all the time. The same goes for books, specially if you have an extensive library and while we are at it, anything related to Freedom of Speech as you are not out there every day trying to redress wrongs. Shall we go on about Private Property? How about uterus? Can we control who gets pregnant and who gets an abortion? It is not like women use the uterus that often in their lifetimes.

It is no longer willingness to sacrifice the First to get to the Second, it is officially “Fuck the Bill of Rights, we are tired of not controlling the little people.”

Is there a Civil War Clock out there, like the Doomsday Clock? Because morons like her sure a winding that puppy hard.

And then Senator Feinstein will get her definition of use fulfilled.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. “the hundreds of school shooting using an assault weapon that have taken place recently” just tell any lie all the time. Gobbels would be proud of her

  2. Semantics are always a desperate line of defense. ‘Nuff said.

This husk of a human is watching her life’s mission go up in smoke, and she wants to argue over the dictionary.

  3. I do not know about anyone else, but I see ARs, AKs, shotguns, pistols holding more than 10 rounds, and your average hunting rifle getting regular use all the time. Anyone that spends more than one day a year at a range sees it.

Shame that Kavanaugh did not drop that little fact on this liverspotted old hag. “Senator, these firearms are used all the time. Go to any rifle range any day of the week and then come back here and tell me they are not in common use.”

  4. Just once I would like to hear a reply like “Ma’am, you seem to have wanted me to have disregarded the law and to have made a decision based on my feelings. I followed Supreme Court precedent. Would you prefer that I ignore that precedent in the future, Say if an abortion case comes before the court? ” Kind of flip the script of her cranky old ass. Or made her clarify her in common use crap by saying “Are you saying that what you call assault rifles are NOT in common use? I would like to see your source for that because a simple look at ammo sales can probably prove that wrong.”

    1. The talking point is that while gun sales keep going up, the number of actual gun owners is shrinking.
And yes, it’s BS aimed at reassuring politicians that gun control is real popular, honest.

    2. I hate the ‘commonly used’ standard. By definition, that means that anything new could be regulated/banned.

  5. When the first “plasma rifle in the 40 watt range” (h/t Terminator) is introduced it will not be common or in general use. That is not a criteria for banning it. I want one! Especially when the police will carry them.

The government simply lacks authority to regulate or ban weapons (i.e. arms). That is the whole point of the Second Amendment; it is to prevent the federal government (and the states by extension) from banning any weapon.

The NFA is unconstitutional. Licensing and registration in any form is also an affront to our civil rights. Fees and special taxes are also wrong. If you disagree, please tell me how you would feel if your favorite religious book was outlawed or taxed prohibitively or you had to register that you had it. Second Amendment is not the ugly aunt you keep in the basement when guests come over. The BOR is not an a la carte menu like in a cafeteria; it is all or nothing.

I look forward to the day that Feinstein, an enemy of citizens and our freedoms, meets her master down under. Her soulless eyes betray her evil.
