I had a spiral cut ham over the holidays.
One ham hock
One quart of vegetable broth
One quart chicken stock
2 lbs split peas
3 lbs yellow potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 lbs carrots
1 yellow onion
Salt, black pepper, thyme, parsley
I have soup
Shouldn’t big chunks of the ham be in there? Asking for a friend. 😉
I take the ham off the bone them dice it in the food processor, then stir it back in. Every bite has some ham in it rather than large chewy pieces.
