Clearly the first post is talking about AR-style rifles, whereas the second post would be referring to AK-series weapons. See? Totally, totally different.
Hate to defend that jackass, but I am not sure there is an inconsistency.

It is OK when the government gives you guns to defend the Government against aggression from outside forces. It is NOT OK for you to have guns you purchased yourself for your own personal use.
