As I had mentioned previously, at the behest of Ilhan Omar and MoveOn, every Democratic primary candidate skipped the AIPAC conference this year.

A few big name Democrats did go, such as Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Steny Hoyer.

The average age of the Democrats who did attend AIPAC is 75 years old (not and exaggeration).

As for younger Democrats, they were outside AIPAC shouting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

You know, the genocidal slogan chanted by Hamas that calls for the eradication of Israel and the formation of a single Islamic Arab state instead.

Considering that Nancy Pelosi got elected to the position of Speaker of the House by the skin of her dentures, and she is 179 years old (also not and exaggeration), and has frequent enough trouble speaking that most everyone is sure she has either dementia or has had a mini stroke, it makes sense why some young, narcissistic upstarts bolstered by a fawning media and social media are challenging her for party leadership.

Pelosi, much to her discredit, as refused to take those petulant freshmen children, and bend them over her knee and give them the belting they deserve in order to play nice with the younger, radically progressive Democrat demographic.

As a result, Ilhan Omar, and to a slightly lesser degree, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have become the de facto leaders of the Democrat party.  At least in the public perception.

Pelosi tried to call out Ilhan Omar at AIPAC, most likely trying to avert the drought of Jewish policial donations to the Democrats in 2020.

I will give Pelosi credit where credit is due, I don’t think she herself is a Jew hater.  That doesn’t mean I like her, clearly she is tolerating it in her party for the purposes of votes, but I don’t think she harbors the hate in her heart the way Omar does.

Pelosi also stood up against BDS.

This was too much for alt-Speaker of the House Omar, who along with Rep Rashida Tlaib openly supported and defended BDS against Nancy Pelosi.

This is now the state of the Democrat platform.

Older Democrats who re losing support are anti-BDS and pro a USA-Israel alliance.

Younger, Progressive Democrats are anti-Israel, pro-BDS, and generally antisemitic.

BDS has the ultimate goal, like Omar and Tlaib, of ending Israel and creating a single, Arab Islamic state that encompasses all of Israel and Palestine, where Jews are the minority and have no rights.

Like other Leftist groups, it is pure projection, accusing Israel of genocide to advance its own desires for a Jewish-genocide.

The end result of all of this is that now the de facto position of the Democrat party is BDS and the end of Israel, pushed by the mainstream and social media elected de facto leader of the Democrat party, Ilhan Omar.

  1. “…every Democratic primary candidate skipped the AIPAC conference this year.”

    They weren’t invited.

      1. Hm. A WaPo article says they weren’t invited but then goes on to explain at great length the various excuses the candidates gave for not attending. Which means they could in fact have attended and “not invited” is a smoke screen. The article also explicitly says that Warren was invited but declined, and that Sanders explicitly stated he didn’t want to attend due to policy differences.

  2. “…creating a single, Arab Islamic state that encompasses all of Israel and Palestine, where Jews are the minority and have no rights.” — I think that is optimistic. A more realistic description of the goal is “…where Jews no longer exist”, matching the way things ended up in Arab countries.
