Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
Chuck Yeager, Rest in Peace.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Ambulance driver: “Sir, over there, is that a man?”
Ridley: “Yeah, you damn right it is.”
Oh I have slipped the surly bonds of earth…
Don’t gotta check six any more General.
You left a mark sir.
“Ace in a day” and shot down a jet from a prop plane.
Kicked that demon’s ass. Went back for seconds.
Miguel, I shamelessly stole that badass pic for our post. Thank you!
RIP General. A true American hero!
CBS (amazingly) has a good piece about him. It includes this comment:
“Yeager, from a small town in the hills of West Virginia, flew for more than 60 years, including piloting an X-15 to near 1,000 mph at Edwards in October 2002 at age 79.”
Wow. Flying at 79 is significant, and flying an experimental supersonic rocket plane at that age… serious case of The Right Stuff.
