King Soopers Shooting: Ahmad Al-Issa Suspected Of Killing 10

The suspect in the mass shooting at a grocery store in Boulder on Monday has been identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Al-Issa from Arvada. Ten people, including one police officer, were killed at the King Soopers store at Table Mesa Drive and South Broadway.

And he’s a Muslim, confirmed by his Facebook.

There is no evidence that this was a Jihadi attack.

Either this will go away or we will be treated to a narrative about Muslim white supremacists.

2021 is a wild year so there is no telling which way it will go.

  1. D’oh! This wasn’t the mass shooting they were hoping for. Watch this one disappear after a day or two.

  2. Oh, now that makes more sense why they had him mostly stripped down. I wonder if they were suspecting a suicide bomb.

…which means this will be memory holed.

  3. “There is no evidence that this was a Jihadi attack.”

Going to press X to doubt here, J.Kb. Plenty of precedent for ‘lone wolf’ aka ‘sudden jihadi syndrome’ events.

Still, I expect the left to memory-hole this like it’s more radioactive than Marie Curie’s notebook.

  4. It may disappear in the media but they’re doing everything they can to use it to ram through gun control bills in Congress.

  5. The facts will be discredited as Q-anon theories and the media will be talking about how he was a well known white supremest by the end of the week. After a few months and the tragedy is thoroughly milked a retraction will be issued as a quiet correction to some buried stories on the media’s websites.
