Wild animals will eat most anything that doesn’t eat them first.
Skunks will eat whatever’s handy.
Sometimes this is a good thing. Toward the end of summer, I set forth to eradicate a yellowjacket nest in the front yard, only to find that what I presume to have been a skunk had already dug it up and devoured the inhabitants.
Calories is calories, as far as most wild animals are concerned.

Some folk keep them around for their habit of eating rodents. If you don’t pressure them, they aren’t likely to spray you. If you have dogs, it’s quite the chore cleaning them afterward.
