1. The Brits, along with much of western Europe, got their most fit, strongest, and nationalistic / patriotic males seriously culled over two successive generations, in World Wars I and II. I’d argue that the present state of their society, as well as much of Continental Europe, is at least partially a result of this.

   As it stands, even if the average Briton wanted to respond in some way to this sort of thing … with what? They are not even allowed to have sharp knives and pointy sticks these days. Of course, I suspect that as here, such restrictions only really affect those inclined to obey the law, so the opposition they face is likely much better armed.

   1. The Brits, perhaps. WW1 is long enough ago it might not matter as much, but WW2, sure. That doesn’t apply to most of the rest of Europe, though, since by and large the Continent surrendered without much of a fight. For example, my native land (Holland) didn’t have a real army and resisted only for a few days. Not much opportunity for military (or military-age) casualties there.

2. The UK is lost. Has been for a few decades now.
   As soon as the liberals started to get into power, the end was in sight. And, this is the result.
   Mass migration from countries that abhor what the UK was built on. It was apparent every time there was an islamic terrorist attack, when all members of Parliament, regardless of party, were elbowing each other out of the way to be the first at the microphone to say “this has nothing to do with islam and muslims…”
   .
   The muslims pulled the “I’m offended” card, the Brits bought into it hook, line, and sinker, and now it is a muslim country.
