Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
I don’t have the words.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Because you should use the right tool for the job? It’s like they aren’t even trying.
Oh no, they ARE trying, which is why it’s so totally hilarious to watch them flail.
I have a wrench, It does a great job for tightening bolts, but it can’t put a hole clean through a propane tank. For that I’d need a gun.
My thoughts exactly. I have a bunch of various wrenches, one of which is a HUGE pipe wrench that has been ideal for loosening some VERY stubborn bolts.
I guess it also would make an effective, but clumsy weapon, so for that I have guns.
Interestingly while wrenches are awesome on bolts, they suck at opening packages and letters, for that I reach for the pocket knife I always carry….that’s another tool I bought.
What’s their fucking point? I almost wonder if gun banners even have opposable thumbs.
I’m guessing they don’t consider guns to be tools. Interesting that they didn’t put up a picture of a knife.
That’s their whole point, they don’t want to consider them tools because that would imply that guns aren’t inherently evil or something, but that it depends on the user (imagine that!).
It’s not even like we’re saying that guns aren’t weapons (they are), but that weapons are a kind of tool. They’re just being childish as usual.
All weapons are a form of tools.
And like any tool, they only augment the user’s capabilities. Owning a hammer does not make you an expert carpenter, nor does it give you a sudden desire to build things. It only makes it easier to drive nails into wood.
Same reason I don’t buy a band saw to change the oil in my truck. Duh.
Same reason I don’t use an acetylene torch to clip my fingernails.
I have a couple of dozen guns and a 540 piece Sears mechanics tool set. I think I need to buy more guns.
[…] Miguel found this one that just gets me scratching my head: […]
Honestly I don’t even think CSGV activists know how to use a monkey wrench.
First, they’d have to find a monkey to use it.(Bloomberg maybe?) Then They’d have to get a government grant to buy it. And if the monkey hurt himself of someone else with the wrench, they’d have to ban all monkeys with wrenches.
Because you can’t hammer a nail with a hacksaw.
GSGV is the biggist of the tools mentioned.
…Apparently they’ve never played (or had) Clue.
Col Mustard with the wrench in the Study…
