Hoped? Yes.
Expected? No. Especially when the polls started going majorly his way a week or so ago. And when we heard of republican seniors being told they had already voted, of course.

I certainly did not expect anything different. In fact, I expected it to be more lopsided in favor of Gavin.
With numerous reports of fraud and people (almost 100% Republicans) being told they already voted, I am actually surprised it was not 99% in favor of keeping.
