Atlanta: First round of Anti-NRA protest is a notable “Meh.”

I counted about 50 people and I am gonna be generous and add another 10 outside the pic on the right.

This is the protest coordinated by The Georgia Alliance for Social Justice, Better Georgia, Gays Against Guns, Guns Down, Pride Fund to End Gun Violence and others. I guess they did not have the funding to bus enough people from out-of-town to beef up the look.

One down in flames (no pun intended), one more to go tomorrow.

  1. They do it for the attention. 15 minutes of fame, as it were.
    And they are over 1 mile away from the NRA Convention.
    Nobody cares about them anymore except the media and themselves.
    Meanwhile ~80,000 at the NRA Convection.

    1. If they were so adamant about ending violence they would be protesting the war on freedom of speech perpetrated by the friends in ANTIFA….hypocrites…or they would be fighting to end gun free zones…hypocrites….Day one down in Flames…pun intended

    1. Sounds like (maybe) each of the protest groups managed to get out 10 folks or so. Just think how many they could have attracted if they had a legitimate grievance………………

    Divide 50 by 80,000 and you get the idea how non-mainstream they are and out of touch with reality and self defense values.

    1. Just thought about that. The NRA convention would be a great place for ANTIFA to show up and try to “flex their muscle”. What could go wrong for them? It’s a lot easier on some gun free communist college campus in California to assault people than it is in a place like this.

  5. If they were against gun violence, they’d be protesting in south-side Chicago, demanding more arrests and longer prison sentences for violent criminals.
