This is absolutely crazy.

That is a big knife.  That is unquestionably potentially leathal.

I have no idea why this person decided to target that other guy and chase after him and try and stab him.

This right here is a ringing endorsement for concealed carry.

I know for a fact there is no way I could have outrun that guy.  I’ve been packing and moving boxes all day and my back and knees are killing me.  There is no sprint in me.

My only options would be to lumber away like a fat guy with bad knees and get stabbed in the back or turn and fight.

The only problem in this case being, it’s Portland, and I assume that the local DA will throw the book at you for defending yourself against a crazy person with a knife.
