The great Scottish actor, Robbie Coltrane died yesterday.

He is most famous for playing Hagrid in the Harry Potter series.  Although I will always remember him from the 1983 fantasy movie, Krull.

By all accounts, he was a decent man.  When Hollywood started casting the Harry Potter movies, JK Rowling said that she wanted Coltrane to be Hagrid.

Because Rowling has stood up to the trans mafia, and Coltrane never denounced her in life, these people are celebrating his death.

 

At face value, one might ask why I give a shit about what these people say online about a Scottish actor I’ve never met.

The answer is a follows.

Mike Tyson was correct in his assertion: “Social media made y’all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.”

These internet warriors have racked up victory after victory of getting people canceled.

They are trying to get Rowling canceled, and the only reason they can’t is because she has “fuck you” money.

They did get Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint to denounce her, even though they wouldn’t exist without her.

Coltrane and Rowling are famous, and had a documented history before the internet trans mafia set their sights on them.

So, if they are willing to do this to these famous people, consider what they are willing to do to you.

Tweeting takes virtually no effort, so very quickly the Woke mafia can utterly destroy a person’s reputation with negligible effort on each individual in the mob.

If you have minimal documented history before you are targeted, all the internet will find is the accusations against you.

Even after your death, your descendants try to look you up and all they find is a sea of people bad mouthing you.

These people are miles past being comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.  Their entire existence and identity is based on disrespecting people online and not getting punched in the face for it.

They are getting more and more extreme.

Just wait until some person finds themselves the victim of a hate mob canceling because their kid was Harry Potter for Halloween, or something else anodyne and petty.

Woe be unto them when the dam that holds back normal people breaks.

The thing is, I’ve transitioned from warning about the dam breaking to hoping that it does.

Every bubble needs to burst and allow a brief but painful market correction to occur.

The internet hate mob as the king of the hill bubble needs to burst and the market correction of the internet hate mob have no power and leaving people alone needs to happen.  The only way to get there is through a brief moment of terrible pain.  And and easy way to identify those who needs to suffer in the market correction are the people who decided to celebrate Coltrane’s death.

Irrationality and why I believe in political violence

Take this situation that just happened:

 

The painting was undamaged.  All of these types of paintings are behind glass to protect them.  Whether or not Just Stop Oil knew that is irrelevant.

My wife asked me why these people would do this?

How did Van Gogh contribute to climate change?

What do they hope to gain by doing this?

She is very smart and I love her very much, but she fell into the trap that lots of smart and rational people fall into: she is a rational actor trying to apply reason and logic to irrational people and their irrational acts.

At the very best, the only logical inference you can draw from this is that these people are “trying to draw attention to the issue.” As though not enough attention has been drawn to the issue already.

We’ve seen this happen where like minded protesters will block traffic.

 

Then there are the Tire Extinguishers who slash tires on trucks, SUVs, and cars they accuse of being too fuel consuming.

 

Again, how does this sell their message?

This is effectively very low level terrorism, i.e., “do what we want or will will inconvenience you.”

This is just a lopsided act of political violence.

We don’t seem to understand that because it doesn’t cause permenant damage or casualties.

This is why I keep saying there needs to be a Stand Your Ground law for traffic.

If someone runs out into the street with the intent to block the flow of traffic, you should have the right to keep driving through, and if you hit them the liability is on the person being run over.

(Of course I’ll have to tinker with the language, but the law will be able to separate protesters like this from someone who is having a emergency and is trying to flag down people for help, just as SYG can differentiate between a mugger and a panhandler.  But you get the point.)

The reason is that it’s a moral principle to meet force with force.

Irrational actors are impervious to rational arguments but they do understand force.

I have been saying for a while that it’s time we bring back the use of force in the defense of property.

Property crime is off the charts because of a lack of policing and prosecution of criminals.

It’s the wild west out there and people should have the right to protect what they have when they system fails.

Given what these and other protesters have done, I believe that the defense of property with force should be extended to the defense of a third party’s property, just as SYG covers defense of a third party.

When protesters were tearing down statues, it should have been the right of decent citizens to yeet the rioters.

If someone in front of you at a museum pulls out a can of soup and cocks their arm, you should have every right to stop them with violence.

Explaining to these people that their protests are an annoyance that doesn’t make other want to side with the.

The message that needs to be sent is: “block traffic and stop me from getting to work, deflate my tires, or deface the things that beautify my community and if you survive, you will see the scars of your encounter every day every time you look and the mirror and put in your dentures.”

We are not morally obligated to counter irrationality with rationality, we should be allowed to meet force with force.

This is a public library that had a drag queen put drag makeup on a child then took a picture of that child making a obscene gesture that means you perform cunnalingus.

Under my administration, the individual who did this will be taken to a gulag and shot.

The library staff that approved this will be taken to the gulag to perform hard labor.

The parents will be put in stocks and whipped.

I will have zero tolerance for pedophilia or grooming.

Okay, that was funny.  Probably funnier if you were in medicine and really got the jokes.

But it makes me curious about something.

Why in the fuck does medicine make med students do this?

It seems like a needless and expensive waste of time.

I briefly dabbled with the idea of med school instead of getting my PhD, based on some research I did in orthopedic bio-materials.

The ONLY field of medicine I had interest in was orthopedics.  Putting screws into bone.  Human carpentry.   That’s it.

Why would someone like me have to do a  nephrology or pediatrics rotation?

Instead I’m an engineer.  I’m a professional engineer.  I, like a doctor, have had five years in internships and passed two sets of board exams to earn a license to practice.

I didn’t have to intern with a civil engineering firm, a mechanical engineering firm, a structural engineering firm, a chemical engineering firm, etc., to get licensed in my field.

I work on a team where there are engineers of other backgrounds who have expertise I don’t have.

Doesn’t it make more sense to train doctors in the field they want to learn and tell them “if you don’t know something, call in someone with that speciality.”

Trying out a few different field might make sense for some who is unsure what speciality they want and then they could try a few.  But this rotation system seems like something that could easily be gotten rid of.

Then again, I’m absolutely convinced that medical education is a cartel created to artificially reduce the supply of doctors to the public, driving up the salaries of doctors disproportionately.  So maybe the inefficiency of the system is the goal.

Kanye West has apparently done the Prince thing and changed his name to Ye.

He then wore a shirt that said “White Lives Matter” and went on Tucker Carlson and said some pro-life stuff.

The Left then turned on Kanye.

In the middle of this he said some shit to Puff Daddy about the Jews.

That became public and the ADL said something about what he said to Puff Daddy.

I really don’t know the details and I don’t want to investigate or parse them out.

What I do know is that since everything has been turned political and cranked up to 11, the battle lines are now being drawn.

The Right has now latched onto Kanye West as some sort of super genius because he made a point they agree with on abortion and the Left has criticized him.

Apparently they forgot that this is the same guy who got on TV and said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” and spread a conspiracy theory that the GOP was deliberately botching the rescue efforts in New Orleans after Katrina to kill black people.

He also fucked four kids into Kim Kardashian and named them North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

Maybe his abortion stance is one of those bind squirrel finds a nut sort of deals.

But because the ADL got on his case because he said some shit to Puff Daddy, the Anti-Semitic fringe of the Right is all “we must protect Kanye West from being silenced by the JOOOOOOOOSSS!!!”

I really don’t care about Kanye West or his stance on abortion, what I do know is now the Jews have been dragged into the middle of his stupid shit show, and that’s never good for us.
