As I am planning my move, I realize that I will have to travel through some very Blue, anti-gun zones, to get to my final destination.

There really isn’t any way around that.

So I’m going to have to pack a truck full of guns, ammo, cans, and switchblades, through enemy territory.

I had an idea.

I need Leftist bumper stickers, but I need them printed with the sort of adhesive they use on dealer window stickers, that easily peels off.

That way I can camouflage my vehicle.

Just decorate the truck with “I’m with her,” Black Lives Mater,” “Love is love,” “I’m proud of my trans child,” “Fuck Trump,” and every other platitude you can imagine.

Put them on, drive through the Blue Zone and avoid detection, then peel them off when I get to where I’m going.

I’m sure there is a market for that.

“Do you want to visit family in a place that isn’t gun friendly?  Do you have to drive through a Liberal city but have an NRA window decal?  Fear no more.  Our temporary Leftist decals will allow you to blend in with the locals.  Your license plate may say you’re from a Red State, but your rear window says you’re visiting from out of state to fight the patriarchy have an abortion.”

I’ve spent the last year working unhappily as a consultant.  It was not a job I really liked.  I took it for the money.

When I was hired I was told I’d be busy as hell and I’d bill a lot and make big bonuses.

It didn’t turn out like that.

The company then responded last week by letting me go.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week as you can imagine. Losing a job, panicking over what I’ll do next, etc.

But the Lord works in mysterious ways.

I found a job doing defense work very similar to a job I previously had and loved.  I scheduled interviews right away.

That was the post I asked people to put good into the universe on my behalf.

I want to thank all of you who did.

I was offered the job and with great alacrity accepted it.

Long time readers know about the several months of unemployment I had following a layoff a few years ago and how much that broke me down at the time.

To have an offer for something that I love less than a week later, I believe is sign that someone up there was watching out for me.

Now I have to sell my house and move across country again.

I wanted to fill you in because I know it seems like as soon as we started with subscriptions I went and fucked off and didn’t do much.

For the last little bit my head has not been in the game .  I’ll improve a little bit but I know the move will be a giant time suck when it comes.

I love writing and finding stuff to write about, I love engaging with those of you who comment.

I just wanted you to understand what’s been going on with me.

Miguel was always much better at giving you a heads up when his life was about to go upside down.

I just kind of get sucked into riptides and let you know where I was when I swim back to shore.

This is a hell of a story out of Florida:

Bystander shoots, kills person who threatened to ‘shoot the crowd up’

The tables turned on an armed person who was shot and killed after announcing plans to “shoot up the crowd” on Sunday night.

According to officers, a 911 call came in saying someone had been shot, the caller also said he shot the person who took a short-barreled shotgun out of a car, threatening to “shoot the crowd up”.

After an investigation, detectives say a fight broke out between two women, which turned into a brawl of around 20 people. The suspected gunman was 22 years old and from West Palm Beach, but the name and gender have not been released.

The police department says the 22-year-old refused to drop the weapon after multiple people confronted the suspect.

That’s when a 32-year-old man fired his weapon, hitting the armed suspect. The man had a concealed weapon license and remained on the scene with police to cooperate with the investigation.

As of right now, charges have not been filed against the man with the CCW permit.

IANAL, but I’m pretty sure this was a good shoot.

Pulling out a shotgun and threatening to shoot up a crowd can pretty reasonably assumed to be a threat of imminent death or grave bodily harm.

It’s a good thing that the CCW was there to terminally de-escalate the threat before any innocent people were hurt or killed.

I was talking with a buddy earlier today about the Trump Mar-A-Lago raid.

I said that I predict shit will get ugly.

The whole point of this, just like the two impeachments, is to saddle Trump with every burden they can think of to make him ineligible to run against Biden in 2024.

I predicted that in furtherance of this, I expect Trump to be arrested and perp walked out of Mar-A-Lago by federal agents.

Not because he did anything justifying that, but because it would be a public humiliation.

Merrick Garland having his petty revenge against the man who kept him off the Supreme Court.

It would also make a great photo-op for Democrats to use against Trump.

I predicted that Trump supporters would protest such an action and would likely turn violent.

The media and Democrats would love nothing more than seeing some MAGA behatted Trump supporters gunned down by FBI in front of Trump in handcuffs.

I’m pretty sure there are a lot of people on the Left who regularly masturbate to that fantasy.

After that, there would be a crackdown on Trump supporters.

Pretty much everyone knows that the FBI raided Trump’s home in Mar-A-Lago yesterday.

Ostensibly, it was to recover classified documents that Trump removed from the White House.

But considering all of the lies the FBI told about Trump since 2016, there is no reason to believe them now.

The incomplete list includes lying about Russian Collusion, lying to FISA courts to get illegal wiretap warrants, lying about the Trump dossier, lying about not spying on Trump, lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop to counter Trump’s claims, etc.

This raid follows arrests of Trump associates for what were normally unenforced infractions in Washington.

Under Obama, we had Lois Lerner politicize the IRS.

Now we have a partisan bill for 87,000 new IRS agents and an Administration that has proven its capabilities of using federal law enforcement for partisan purposes.
