There will be breadlines before this is over

We have an American President telling us that there will be food shortages in this country.

Who imagined that would happen in the 21st Century.

No, really, think about it.

It has been nearly 100 years since the Great Depression.

All the developments of mechanized farming, international trade, and everything else that happened in the last half of the 20ty Century has been toppled in 14 months.

There is a quote I remember reading but I can’t remember who it’s by, that perfectly describes modern farming: “[modern agriculture] turns petroleum into food.”

From diesel for equipment to petrochemical derived fertilizers, that’s what farming does.

The attack on our and Russian oil production, inflation, and global crisis has made the cost of farming increase.  Food production is down, prices are up.

Food shortages and prohibitively expensive food is the sort of thing you read about happening in places like Cuba or Venezuela after a socialist takeover.

That is not the sort of thing you expect to hear about in America, outside of history books with black and white photographs from a long bygone era.

There will be people, standing in line for bread, occupying themselves on government provided smart phones.

It’s a scene out of a dystopian sci-fi movie.

For middle-class Americans, food will become such a substantial portion of their budget that it will change how we live.

That’s not something we are used to.

Americans spent on average 8.6% of their disposal income on food in 2020, and for the last 50 years have spent no more that 10-15% of their income on food.

That is how we have been able to achieve our middle-class quality of life.  By making the items necessary for life, e.g., food, energy, clothing, relatively cheap, freeing up money for luxuries.

But the cost of energy is skyrocketing.

Housing is substantially more expensive.

Imagine what happened when food becomes 25-30% of your budget.

When all the necessities of life eat up the entirety of your budget and you have nothing left for luxury.

What happens when the American middle-class quality of life that three generations of Americans have been born and raised in vanishes and we must live like our grandparents or great grandparents did as children during the Great Depression.

Night clubs and speakeasies for the elite and washing our aluminum foil and reusing our peanut butter jars for the rest of us.

Really let the enormity of this sink in.

And we’re only 14 months in to a four year commitment.

Never ever, ever trust a fucker from Harvard or Yale.

They can sound like conservatives, but at the end of the day they will preserve the status quo.

I swear to God, my SCOTUS nominees won’t even be lawyers.

I’m just going to find some guys living off the grid who shout “taxation is theft” and “all gun laws are unconstitutional” a lot and put them on the Court.

Why DeSantis is necessary: I would rather choose violence

The state of some public schools:

I am thankful to Libs of TikTok for all her work exposing this indoctrination of children.

But with all due respect to her, no.  I will not cede the public schools to these people.

I do not have the money to send my children to private school.

I do educate my children at home, both of my kids could read and write before going to kindergarten, but my wife and I do not have the time to be full time homeschooling parents.

But most importantly, I  pay property taxes and federal income tax, both with end up in the schools.  I pay for the schools.

I, as a taxpayer, should have the right to decide how that money gets used, just as I have the right to decide how the rest of my money gets used, and I do not want it used to indoctrinate my children with an anti-human, anti-normal, anti-science fundamentalist Leftist religious/cult ideology about sex and gender that harms children.

This is why Ron DeSantis is so important.

This is why the Republicans who have grown a pair and are standing up to this evil are so important.

They need to succeed, because the alternative is where I and my friends with kids go when we talk about this.

Frontier justice.  Swift, violence, and bloody retribution.

The hope that guys like DeSantis can advance this position and our desire to hang onto a polite civil society by the tips of our fingers is all that is stopping us.

Us men who want to be left alone also want out children to be left alone.

The day one of my kids comes home and tells me they are not the gender that they have always been will not be a good day for a lot of people.

This ship will be righted one way or another, but I’m not going to abandon it.

Why do they always look like this?

Because they are miserable people in a cult of hatred that seeks to destroy the human body.

Every single one of these trans-child groomers is a monstrosity of physical and emotional sickness.

They hate themselves, their families, and everything they can’t have, i.e., a normal, happy, healthy, pleasant life.

So they try and destroy in others what they can’t have themselves.

Rather than try and help the emotionally vulnerable get better and return to normal, they want to drag those children down into emotional confusion and physical mutilation.

It is a cult of ugliness and misery that exists to spread ugliness and misery under the banner of virtue.

We should not listen to these people.

We need to recognize that there is a physiognomy with this cult.

When we see these people, society should have the fortitude to say: “clearly you are a physically and emotionally sick person and for the health of society we will absolutely ignore your every demand so as not to infect the rest of society with your sickness.”
