“The reason that we did not intervene goes back to what we talked about last month with House Bill 2928 and the restrictions placed on us in a crowd control environment,” KOIN reports that Portland Police Lt. Jake Jensen said in a neighborhood meeting Thursday.

The legislation in question is House Bill 2928, which prohibits the use of things like pepper spray and rubber bullets for crowd control. However there is an exception – when the circumstances constitute a riot and if the officer using the chemical incapacitant reasonably believes its use is necessary to stop and prevent more destructive behavior.

Cops can’t use less lethal for crowd control, violence escalates.

They did half a million dollars in damage in one night.

I hope this happens every night for weeks and months on end until there is nothing left.

We will never field a hypersonic weapon like the Chinese have.

We have no one to field it against.

Our hypersonic program is a make work job for a fat, bloated, inefficient, and corrupt military individual complex.

First of all, you need to understand our elites.

They are not Socialists or Communists or have anything like that.

They believe on two things: money and power.

Whatever gives them the most money and power, they do.  That’s it.

It’s greedy nihilism.

The Chinese are ideologically driven.   They are Communists and ethno-supremacists.

They want Chinese hegemonic domination.

They have taken full advantage of the greedy nihilism of our elites.

They have strategically defeated us by making our elites obscenely wealthy.

Every outsourced job, shutdown American factory, and overseas manufactured product that made some CEO or holding company executive richer was a victory for them.

So who are we going to launch hypersonic missiles at?

China?

Never, our elites will never launch missiles at their cash cow.

Iran?

It’s backed by China for oil resources.

Russia?

Also strategically partnered with China for natural resources.

There is nobody worth shooting hypersonics at that wouldn’t be our elites shooting themselves financially in the foot.

In the end, the “stiff competition” is merely justification for a hypersonics budget for Lockheed and Raytheon.

In the end, it’s the American and Taiwanese people who lose.

Cops are getting fired over the vaccine mandate.

That leave as much smaller, already demoralized, police force to handle the current shit-storm.

What happens when they are totally overwhelmed and say “fuck it, I’m out.”

Seriously, except for some sleepy rural areas, I can’t see there being a whole lot of cops left in Washington by the end of the year.

When you study what life was like under the KGB or Stasi in a Communist country, one think you learn about is the every present sense of uneasiness.

That was by design.

People never felt comfortable.  They never knew who was an informant or if what they were doing was right.  The rules changed frequently, enforcement was selective and capricious.

They could never relax and assume they were safe.

Woman raped on train as bystanders did nothing, police say

A woman was raped by a stranger on a commuter train in suburban Philadelphia in the presence of other riders who a police official said “should have done something.”

The entire episode was captured on surveillance video that showed other people on the train at the time, Bernhardt said.

“There was a lot of people, in my opinion, that should have intervened; somebody should have done something,” Bernhardt said. “It speaks to where we are in society; I mean, who would allow something like that to take place? So it’s troubling.”

Interesting that they say witnesses should have called the police.

Forbes told us quite clearly “Stop Calling The Police On Black People.”

That was actually a very common message last year.

So do we call the police when we watch a rape happening or not if the perpetrator is a POC?

What else do we do?

Do we use force, then let the media call us violent, racist, vigilantes?

Because the media never lies about confrontations like that by white Hispanics or Catholic School kids on a field trip.

The result is we are all stuck in limbo, knowing what is right but not knowing how to act upon it without being totally destroyed by the woke mob.

All the time criminals run rampant.

See, it doesn’t matter what you say about him, he’s richer than you.

For instance, I could say Mark is a scumbag who is part of the problem I’ve blogged about in the past, wherein the value of stocks has become disconnected from the output of a company.

This has lead to companies, like Boeing as an example, where management has prioritized shareholder value through stock manipulation instead of growing the business by producing quality products, which ultimately causes companies to fail and working people in those companies to suffer.

But my criticism of Mark and how his style of money making has severely damaged this country falls on deaf ears because he can drive away in a car that costs as much as my house.

An old method of organizing a society, one that is not healthy or sustainable, is “might makes right.”

The modern equivalent is “wealth makes right.”

It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you end up rich, it’s fine.

Except that attitude has destroyed countless lives in middle America.

We are living through what is the near zenith of this attitude and were about to come apart at the seams.

At least elites in the past has a sense of noblesse oblige, to build a decent society while they got rich.

Today it’s “I got mine, fuck you.”

I’m fine with not owning a Lamborghini.

I’m happy with a Ford Mustang and a pickup truck, because at the end of the day I can honestly say I’ve never hurt anyone with how I made my money.

If you live in the south, you are probably familiar with the Waffle House Index.

Waffle House restaurants are open 24/7.

If a major storm, like a hurricane comes through,  they are usually the last to close and the first to open.

They actually have a crisis team to go into disaster areas and get Waffle House restaurants back up an running.

The Waffle House Index is a tongue in cheek but very real measure of how an area is doing by how many Waffle House restaurants are closed and/or are serving only their limited crisis menu.

If you want to know just how badly the Biden Administration fucked this country, this is a good metric:

 

Waffle House had to go to its crisis menu without there being a natural disaster.

Yeah, it’s that bad.
