There is a new anti-gun bill in the Senate, sponsored by Senators King and Heinrich.

What does GOSAFE stand for?

THE GAS-OPERATED SEMI-AUTOMATIC FIREARMS EXCLUSION (GOSAFE) ACT

The laughable aspect of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban was that it was so easy to get around the ban by removing certain features like adjustable buttstocks, flash hiders, and bayonet lugs.

You could buy any number of rifles that were functionally the same as a banned gun, except for some cosmetic and ergonomic features.

This bill cuts right to the heart of the issue by going after gas operated guns, regardless of features.

Senator Heinrich created this handy little diagram to show what will be regulated.

The actual text of the bill states that any gas, blowback, or recoil operated semi-automatic centerfire rifle is considered gas operated.

The bill also requires all high capacity magazines to be serialized like a firearm to prevent illegal transfer after the date the bill goes into effect.

It also prevents the transfer of all prohibited magazines, including to descendants.

Senator Heinrich, very graciously, has offered to buy back your guns and magazines before they have to be seized after you die because they can’t be inherited by your family.

The GOSAFE Act will prevent stockpiling of these lethal firearms and large capacity magazines, and also ensure no one loses the value of any firearms they currently have, by establishing a voluntary buy-back program, which would allow firearm owners to voluntarily turn over and receive compensation for non-transferrable firearms and magazines as defined by this legislation.

This bill is so blatantly unconstitutional it’s almost silly, but they did it anyway.

They finally got enough technical knowledge to write a bill that did exactly what they wanted and cut off avenues for compliant run-arounds.

After the George Floyd riots, 10/7, and the pro-Hamas pogroms, the idea of gun control should be absolutely dead for any reasonable citizens.

George Obregon Jr, 20, was left hospitalized in critical condition – with a severe concussion and brain bleeding – after he was brutally assaulted by the 21-year-old rapper’s companions, according to his family.

Police said the fan approached Wick, real name Horace Bernard Walls III, around 1.15am after his show on Monday at the Club Skye in Tampa, Florida.

Footage of the attack shows Obregon walk towards the rapper and his crew before he is sucker punched by one of the men, causing him to hit a brick wall.

As Obregon appears too shocked or hurt to move, another member of Wick’s entourage punches him again several times – as Wick tells the man to ‘chill’.

Obregon then falls to the ground and hits his head on the pavement as Wick is seen pulling the attacker off of him.

The video follows the same pattern as many one punch kills.

You can see it unfold clear as day.

The first punch stuns the fan, who falls down and hits his head on the concrete.

The result is a brain bleed.

This young man is very lucky he didn’t die, yet.

That, unfortunately, may still happen.  Brain trauma can take a while to become lethal.

And he very well may spend the rest of his life handicapped.  Brain bleeding can cause localized brain death.  We won’t know for a while if he will ever fully recover.

I canny stress enough, do not let yourself get punched in the head.

I hope the bodyguards are sent to prison and this man ends up with a very generous settlement to take care of him for life, he’ll probably need it.

There was a stabbing in a high school in North Carolina.

Student, 15, killed by younger peer in caught-on-camera brawl at North Carolina high school

A 15-year-old student was fatally knifed by a 14-year-old classmate on Monday during a wild, caught-on-camera brawl inside a North Carolina high school.

The melee inside the gym at Southeast Raleigh High School also landed a second student, 16, in the hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound, according to local reports.

The teen accused of stabbing two of his peers was arrested and charged with murder on a juvenile petition, WRAL reported, citing authorities.

Part of the fight caught on camera shows two students face to face before a youngster in a black jacket throws a punch at a student in a red jacket, who responds with his own punch.

Sherelle McLaughlin told WRAL that her son, who is the alleged stabber, was only defending himself.

I have to say, I agree with the mom.  This looks like self defense to me.

The kid was backing away from the kid in the blue hoodie, when the kid in the blue hoodie threw a punch.

The kid retreated and was followed.

He was thrown to the ground where he was stomped on and kicked by a mob.

He then stabs his attackers and runs away.

Getting knocked down and stomped on is often a death sentence.

This kid stabbing his way out of getting his head kicked in.

I think he was justified in using lethal force against a potentially lethal attack.

When he was down, he stabbed his attackers in what what available to him.

I’m going to assume he hit the femoral artery on the kid he stabbed in the thigh.

The kid in the blue hoodie looks like he got stabbed in the asshole a bunch.

Once again, Massie is the only Republican to vote with the Squad 100% of the time on the topic of Israel.

This website, Oct7th.org has posted almost 200 videos from Israel of the aftermath of the October 7th massacre in Israel.

The videos are, I believe, worse than even the images after September 11th.

After 9/11, there was lots of rubble and ash.  After 10/7, the killing was so intimate you can see the conditions of the bodies.

These videos make absolutely clear the enormity of the atrocities committed by Hamas.

I personally believe that every Leftist who has been siding with Hamas should be strapped down like Alex in A Clockwork Orange and forced to watch these on a loop until they repent or die.

Gaza should be fire bombed until there is nothing left but ash.
