A Soft RINO replacing a Democrat? The song remains the same.

A friend on mine just posted a picture of his lunch in Facebook and I noticed something:

Yup, the anti straw campaign because somebody “rescued a turtle with a straw up its nose.

This is all Environmentalist BS.  What are the chances that a floating straw delivers itself head on into the small nostril of a swimming sea turtle in the moving seas? Are we talking one in a trillion?

Maybe, just maybe, the sad reality is that sea turtles are snorting coke like it was the ending scenes of Scarface and the aspiration on this particular critter was so hard, the straw just rocketed up inside its breathing canals.

Sea Turtles are having a cocaine addition problem and we are banning straws? Stupid! We need to address the real problem!

I am going to steal Brother Chuck B.’s idea and get those who have not watched To Kill a Mockingbird to please do so. Make it a Classic Movie Date with your liberal friends and invite them over for pizza or tofu.

If you need a double-header, you guys know I rant over and over about Absence of Malice.

This is one of the accusations I kept seeing online yesterday.  Of course, if he had remained calm, he would have been called unfit because no normal individual would have gotten angry at the increased attacks on him and his family. Catch-22 is the Left’s favorite game.

Now, please enjoy the irony of the statement that comes from the crowd that invented micro-aggressions, safe spaces and the whole slew of scaredy-cat modern living.  The same people who go into a fit of rage when they see somebody wearing a red cap or hit somebody over the head with a bike lock because you dared to march for something you believe in.

In any other era, I would have dismissed this as over-excitable imagination. But the way the Democrats and assorted minions are behaving lately, I have to be at least concerned that I am no longer trusting good sense coming from that side.
