Again, let me see if I get this straight.
Dancing Monkey Comedian Christopher Titus has been a very minor celebrity suffering from TDS since the election. This is his latest:
Here are the links he provides:
FBI investigating whether Russian money went to NRA to help Trump
Politico: U.S. officials charge NRA-linked Russian with acting as Kremlin agent
When you are done reading, you find out that there is no remote evidence to suggest the 30 million dollars or any amount of millions came from Russian forces related to Putin and trying to influence elections. But carefully wording the subject, they make it look like the expenses are somehow tainted with foreign influence that are suddenly bad in this election unlike Obama’s presidential campaign which received $181 million dollars in donations from foreign sources and apparently they were not treason against the US.
So the NRA spent 30 million dollars in the last Presidential campaign. Maria Butina had talks with the NRA, therefore the 30 million dollars were Russian and funneled by the NRA. TREASON! OK, got it!
Here is a key paragraph from one of the articles shown as “evidence”:
For more than a year, some Democrats in Congress also have been trying, mostly unsuccessfully, to force the NRA to produce documents that could shed light funding from Russia, and its ties to Russian figures like Butona and Torshin.
Have been asking to produce documents. That tells you two things: 1) They have nothing credible (including the FBI) to get a subpoena for records. Yes, te records are legally protected, but if they had real evidence of money funneled illegally to the NRA, the FBI would have been on it like white on rice. 2) This is a fishing expedition to scare the shit out of people donating to the NRA. They figure that if they get the records and the list of donors is suddenly released to the public, people will stop sending money and thus crippling the NRA.
Now, I would not put past the current Special Counsel that they would try to get the records just the same just to make some more political hay. It is their way to admit the NRA is a powerful lobby when election times comes around and they are not probably feeling too confident about the Blue Tsunami for next November. In fact, they are downright scared about not advancing in Congress and the local legislatures, so they need to hedge their bets eliminating a powerful entity like the NRA or at least tainting its image.
But if they continue to play this game, there might not like the results of the elections after all and I am not talking about what comes out of the ballot box. A lot of us do not take kindly being called traitor and might take offense.
About that Fire Extinguisher Recall.
You guys know I wrote about that fire extinguisher recall from Kidde, right? It was last November and I even got in the list to have my extinguishers replaced…. and then I totally forgot about that.
It popped front and center in my head after the post about the Left wanting to burn stuff and I wondered what had happened to it. I checked with the Facebook friends and I got a chorus of “Oh yeah! I got mine real quick! Brand new replacements.” so I figured my applications got lost in the electronic avalanche they had. I reapplied and found out that one of the extinguishers that was originally in the recall list, was not anymore and that they would be sending the other soon-ish.
It just arrived.
Not as pretty in design as the original, but it is still OK for kitchen duty and it is bigger in capacity, so I am not fretting. They sent a return label and clear instructions on how the prep the old one and I need to call FedEx to schedule a pick-up.
Now, may this post serve as warning that although I pride myself to have a memory good enough to repeat events from 40 years ago and even how to return to places I have not visited in that amount of time without GPS or map, there are certain things that will slip my mind and be lost forever even if I did them yesterday.
PS: One of those are matching faces with names. I will remember your face and if it was friend or foe, but no way I will associate it with a name.
“Bunkie, shut up.”
I was going to do a bit on the Baron Sacha Cohen thing, but Michael Bane said it better.

KIDS, WHAT HAVE I BEEN SAYING FOR, OH, THE LAST DECADE OR SO? The MSM in ALL FLAVORS are our BLOOD ENEMIES!
Have that tattooed on your arm if you’re prone to forgetting it.
The MSM will NEVER:
Do a “fair and balanced” report or documentary on the 2A and gun rights in America.
“Tell the truth” about anything — the NARRATIVES is the only thing that matters.
There are, effectively, NO PRO-GUN VOICES in the MSM; if a journalist, documentarian, reporter, whatever tells you they are pro-gun, they are lying.
You may not like to admit it, but professional interviewers are better at extracting what they want than you are at maintaining control of an interview. I say this as previously one of the top magazine journalists, specializing in “hard target” subjects, in the country. Ask me how many times I walked into a tough interview and didn’t get EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. Hell, I taught people how to interview at that level!
Let’s say by some intervention by a benevolent god you actually WIN an MSM interview. I guarantee you that you will LOSE THE EDIT! The edit is done behind closed door. You have no say whatsoever. Whatrpever you say will be twisted to maintain the narrative. I say this as the guy who is in control of the edits of my shows — I KNOW HOW THIS WORKS!
NET NET: STFU!
One of my favorite cop shows was Homicide: Life on the Streets. “The Documentary” has to be one of the best if not the best episode of the series. You should watch this part of the show whole, but heed the words of Frank Pembelton and even though it is related to a homicide investigation, use them in your dealings with the media.
The Power (not the importance) of amplification.
Yesterday we had an Abolish Ice moment near the DHS facility in Miramar, Fl. The selection of the on location in itself is curious as the building is not a big one. It seems to be an administrative office than anything else: no babies in cages after being ripped of the arms of mothers or exaggerated BS like that. In fact, if have spent any amount of time in South Florida, you know that illegal aliens get taken to Krome detention center. Now, why protest the closure of a location where there are probably no suffering masses of “undocumented immigrants?
Here is the ICE offices in Miramar. They are located close to major highways, Starbucks, Pollo Tropical and assorted eateries and capitalistic goodies:
Now, Krome Detention Center is another story.
That is in the Everglades and about a civilized it get is the indian casino, airboat tours and Trail Glades range where I have left many a bullet in its berms. It is a hot and humid and away as hell from the cities of Miami-Dade county. That is where illegal aliens in South Florida are taking for processing, not a posh administration office tucked away in the suburbs of Broward County.
But the protestors knew that location is just an excuse. They are only interested in making noise and being published which they accomplished more or less. But it takes only a couple of minutes of observation and processing to see how ridiculous the whole thing was.
Let’s begin with the local population: It is 65% Hispanic. That means you can get a bunch of Spanish-speaking/Brown looking individuals faster than an attitude in Starbucks. So how many people attended this event for the Human Rights of the undocumented Aliens that were not nearby but 30 miles and another county away?
Around 75 protesters were out in the area, while about eight or nine individuals worked to block the streets.
“We know that what we have seen is nothing compared to the hundreds and thousands of people who have been caged in the prisons, and also in the detention facilities,” said Cuna.
Police arrested all the protesters at the scene by 6:20 p.m
17 ICE protesters arrested outside Miramar US Customs facility
I am going to say that 75 protesters is probably an exaggeration and that the number was probably taken because I-75 runs nearby.
Obviously we need the chick with the hijab to lend credibility and protection from criticism to the event.
But there were a couple of flies in the Liberal ointment.
Not only they dared to show up with a Trump banner, this gentleman happened to be Hispanic! How dare he?
It goes back to the “secret” I have shared here time and again: East Coast Hispanics come mostly from the Caribbean and South America and are not and want nothing to do with the West Coast Hispanics of mostly Mexican origin.
So what we had was a small gathering of Socialist wannabes (You can get more people at a Quinceañera party announced overnight) trying to “raise awareness” and abolish country’s protection, but only as long as they were not but a couple of blocks away from an iced caramel machiatto with whipped cream and sprinkles.
But they got several million dollars of free advertising thanks to the Media who was willing to have their helicopters for more than an hour flying over the scene and only went away because of the torrential rains.
It is so nice to get free support to spread your lies from willing Media partners, isn’t?
NRA PVF Releases Primary Election Candidate Grades for Florida.
I think even McThag would approve of this list. Let’s start with a small list and do the Tax Collector for Franklin County. Do notice the red “NRA Endorsed” next to the name.
Let’s see governor, shall we?
Yup. No endorsement for either one even though they have an A or A+. This is being repeated in other races. Good to see that having an (R) or an “A” after your name no longer guarantees the NRA endorsement, specially after the SB7026 Gun Rights Rape.
Florida’s 27 Congressional District freed from the fake Pro-Gun Ileana Ros-Lehtinen will probably is going to an F sporting Democrat.
One I can stand behind is this one. Any Gun Rights Floridian agrees with the endorsement:
I should do a comparison of those who voted for or against SB7026 against this list, but I don’t have the energy today. Any complains just leave them in the comments.
