HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police have killed the suspect in a series of three shootings that occurred throughout downtown Harrisburg and Allison Hill on Friday afternoon.Police identified the suspect late Friday as 51-year-old Ahmed Amin El-Mofty, a man who has ties to the area.Around 4 p.m. on Friday, in the area of 3rd and State Streets, multiple shots were fired at an occupied Capitol Police car. The window of the car was broken, and the officer inside was not harmed.About twenty minutes later, El-Mofty opened fire on a Pennsylvania State Police vehicle. A female trooper was wounded, but is expected to be okay, according to Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico.Around 6 p.m. Friday evening, police found El-Mofty near 17th and Mulberry on Allison Hill. After an exchange of gunfire between the police and the suspect, the suspect was killed.

Officials have stopped a man who they say was plotting a terror attack in San Francisco over the holidays. The 26-year-old reportedly stated that “Christmas was the perfect day” for a terror attack in San Francisco and “did not need an escape plan because he was ready to die.” The FBI arrested Everitt Aaron Jameson, who is a tow truck driver and lives in Modesto. According to a handwritten letter obtained by the FBI, Jameson also referred to himself as Abdallah adu Everitt ibn Gordon.

Our challenge for early next year is to start culling these groups from the process and basically have them ignored by the legislators. Let me make this very clear: Courts are not the way we want to keep securing the Second Amendment, we need to take control again of the State Legislatures and Congress.  Check your group’s history with a clear visions and see what have they actually achieved legislative-wise. If their claim is that they “supported” but cannot produce text they created in the bill, you have been pouring money in the wrong account. And if your group openly worked to sabotage a less than perfect pro-gun bill, you need to sever ties with it. If a lobby group does not understand optics in politics, it should not be doing lobby work.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. – A Fort Pierce pizza delivery driver turned the tables on a would-be armed robber, police say.
Goodfella’s Pizza employee John Parker was delivering a pizza in the area of 17th Street and Avenue L around 8 p.m. Sunday.
He said when he got in the neighborhood, he realized the address the caller used to place the order was fake.
Because that’s a red flag as a possible safety risk, Parker said he started to turn around.
At that moment, he said a man, who police identified as Marvin Reaves, flagged him down.
He assumed it was the person who ordered the pizza.
“I was thinking maybe it could have been a mistake in address,“ Parker said.
Then, he said Reaves pulled out a gun and demanded all of his cash.
Parker paused and said he told Reaves he had more cash in the car he could give him.
“I was able to get distance between me and him and get back to my vehicle and disclose my weapon,” Parker said.
Parker said he opened fire and shot Reaves in the legs and pelvis.

In other articles, it is mentioned that the driver does not have a Concealed Weapons Permit and that is why he was doing off-body carry inside the vehicle and I presume legal carry according Florida Statutes. Yu guys know my position: If you are going to have guns in Florida, there is no reason why you should nit have a Concealed Weapons Permit. It is a $97 investment on peace of mind in more than one way.

The owner of Goodfella’s says his drivers have the right to arm themselves.Parker’s colleagues are glad he took his safety seriously.“Hopefully they get the message that we’re not going to take crap anymore,” said delivery driver Anthony Ramunno.Parker said other employees have been robbed in that area before and can refuse to deliver pizzas to that area. “Pizza delivery, it’s shaky business sometimes.”

It is good to know that the driver will not only keep his job, but the owners understands the dangers and allows for his drivers to defend themselves.
