Where do they find these “experts”?
But according to experts, there’s no reason the officers’ body cameras should not have been switched on when they approached Damond’s home.”The policy requires [Minneapolis police officers] to turn the camera on prior to use of force, and it goes on to say if it’s not turned on prior to force, it should be activated as soon as it is safe to do so,” said Teresa Nelson, interim executive director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota.”So we have two officers who, after using deadly force — taking someone’s life — didn’t activate their cameras,” Nelson told NBC News. “That’s astounding to me.”

What is astounding to me is that Ms. Nelson is called an expert. I have no idea why the officer had his gun out, but after pulling the trigger and shooting somebody, his body and brain are going to be affected by a massive dump of adrenaline plus all the emotional baggage that comes with shooting anybody. To think that somebody (specially a rookie cop) can be calm enough to follow some protocol that probably was never practiced under pressure is asinine.
But then again is the ACLU which needs to raise shit in order to raise funds. This is how false narratives get started and then people get all pissy because the evidence does not end matching the Narrative they invested so heavily with their emotions.
What happens after a shooting in terms of emotions is wonderfully explained by Massad Ayoob in DVD # 7 of the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network. The membership costs $135 a year and the 8 DVDs you get are worth double and triple that just by the info you are gonna get. And believe me, you will learn stuff and correct others you thought you knew.
The joys of Socialized Medicine.
It wasn’t old age, or disease: A “bluish foreign body” that was found in an English woman’s eye turned out to be a mass of contact lenses, surprising medical staff who were preparing the woman, 65, for routine cataract surgery. They report pulling 27 lenses from the woman’s eye.
Morjaria says she and her colleagues were startled to find 17 contact lenses clumped together as they were injecting anesthesia into the woman’s eye at Solihull Hospital, southeast of Birmingham. They then recovered another 10 lenses. Part of their surprise, she said, was because the patient hadn’t complained of any irritation.

That would be Birmingham UK, not Alabama.
Both my mom and dad had cataract surgery in both eyes. I had to drive them back and forth prior to the surgery for all the tests and check ups which included some close examinations with machines and the doctor’s own eyes.
How The Everlasting Fuck Do You Miss 27 Contact Lenses In One Eye?
Was this woman ever examined?
What kind of medicine is being practiced in England?
Oh yes, I forgot.
Socialized Medicine.
The Heroin Epidemic, Narcan, and First Aid for Opioid Overdoses | Active Response Training
She was as close to dead as one can be without actually dying. When I arrived on scene, she was unconscious, blue in color and had agonal breath sounds. She was only breathing one or two times per minute.
I hit her with Narcan. After a couple of minutes she began breathing more regularly. It took her about 10 minutes to regain consciousness.

Go read the whole thing and then get back.
This is one that we should seriously think about. Narcan is available in many states (Florida included) as Over The Counter medication and it has a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. I checked with Greg and he said his Narcan pamphlet says it shouldn’t be kept above 85 degrees but he is sure his patrol car got hotter. However, we down here in beautiful SoFla would almost double that in a nice sunny summer day, so I am gonna go with the idea of keeping it indoors or in the car only when the AC is running.
Price will depend on your location. According to GoodRX.com, with their coupons prices may fluctuate from $30 to $38 in my area for a 2 ml syringe. Next would be training and if you can’t have somebody teach you, there are a ton of videos in Youtube by professionals that will give you a darn good idea on what to do. It is not that difficult as long as you remember that if you are under pressure, your fine motor skills will be out the window and you need to pace yourself.
If you think about it, it is an amazing thing that we have the possibility to bring somebody back from certain death with tools that are available to the non-professional. Let us not waste that.
PS: Addicts rescued with Narcan, sometimes get combative when they wake up. Plan accordingly.
Black Lives Matter and the Law of Unintended Consequences
Although not the perfect solution by far, Body Cams for police officers have been a great resource to get facts and set the narrative straight from the media avalanche of bull that usually follows a “controversial” shooting. Same as dash cams many years ago, those who demanded the cameras the most, ended up hating the darned things because they no longer were able to lie as freely as before to get political advantage.
One of the groups demanding a bigger “accountability” for cops is Black Lives Matter and all the other racially motivated groups that are now under the umbrella The Movement for Black Lives feeding on the “Popo just killing innocent black men because racist pigs!”
Interesting enough, if you were to visit their site and read where it says “End the War on Black People.” your jaw will surely drop when you read one of their demands on particular:
Yes! They do not want cops to be wearing Body Cams anymore! Because racism! Or because more often than not, body cams have shown that the claims issued by BLM are full of shit.
There is n o doubt that police departments are getting smarter about Social Media and understand the concept of Fake Media. I suspect that many timely releases of Body Cam video depend on the relationship they have with local paper and TV stations and if it is not the best, they will wait till they slip the noose around their own necks before pulling the rope tight and making them look like fools and liars.
Hat tip and my personal recommendation to follow Donut Operator.
Moms Demand’s Michelle Gajda (@michelle_gajda): The #NRA2DOJ , Culture-War & SYG Lies.
You have to give it to Michelle Gajda , she loves her job as Shannon’s Rep in Florida even if she is not only on the wrong side of history and true feminism but also helps passing down ignorance and legal lies.
First this beauty.
And she is almost right, except for the fact that we are not trying to ignite a culture war, we started it long ago and we are winning it. Now Moms Demand is engaged in a campaign of Race Baiting and disharmony thinking they can pull the race card in Florida which is brutally stupid when you consider the racial make up of the State. I do believe this is going to explode in their faces rather badly, but by then Shannon Watts will be well on her way to her campaign for Congress and Moms Demand will be going the way Brady and CSGV are going.
And then she treated us with this:
Bot Michelle and the editorial idiots of the Tampa Bay Times keep repeating the narrative that Stand Your Ground is some sort of Evil Experiment created by the NRA when in fact is a long-established legal principle in the United States with United States Supreme Court decisions favoring SYG as far back as 120 years ago.
But if they were sticklers for the truth, they would probably be out of the job.
Why lie when your cause is Righteous?
