Florida: Burden of Proof Law signed by the Governor.
CS/SB 128: Self-defense Immunity is now the law effective immediately.
The session was not a total waste.
On the Comey hearing.
Did not watch it, but form what I was able to gather (and the fury effervescing out of some Liberals on Social Media) the whole thing ended up to be a brutal dumpster fire for the Democrats. It seems Comey tried to play “Let’s Influence People like J. Edgar did” without having Hoover’s brain or black files. His confession that he leaked secret memos to the NYT and that the only investigation that was compromised was the Email Servers on behalf of Loretta Lynch showed that President Trump was right on firing his ass.
I think the best summary of Comey’s actions was summarized by this picture I found in Facebook.
Of course, do not expect the Democrats to stop the attacks and get to the business of government. They will come back louder and stupider than ever.
And that is a good thing
Moms Demand empathy for violent felons.
Again either Shannon (or her unpaid intern) are not doing the necessary research or they are indeed supporting orange prison uniforms.
What an awful story. And the poor woman demands that gun violence must be stopped for the two men in her life that were mowed down for no reason (that we know of yet).
And you would look at the pictures above and wonder “Those kinda look like mugshots, could it be?” And the answer would be yes!
Since Tennessee is not as liberal with the inmate information as Florida, we only know Keon Hawkins served hard time but not for what. I did some searching around and was only able to find he had an arrest for Vandalism, Assault/ Domestic Fear of Bodily Injury and Interference with Emergency call, all misdemeanors. So, he beat up his wife.
Now Brenda’s son? He was a jewel. Kemontanez and his little brother back in 2012, pulled guns on a 74 old man and robbed him of his wallet.
A door to door canvas led to the discovery of the Armstrong brothers in one of the homes.
They were taken into custody and a search of the brothers’ bedroom led to the recovery of the robbery victim’s wallet and two pistols concealed in a bed.
But as the late Billy Mays was fond to say, That is not all! Kemontanez was arrested again in 2014 for a multitude of serious charges,: Violation of Parole, Aggravated Assault and Serious Bodily Injury, Intentional.
Now, the killing of these two “angels” just happened and the investigation is still early, but I am willing to speculate they were not killed because they were on their way to Divinity School.
So, Shannon Watts does reserve her pity for violent felons (Orange Rompers anyone?) but all the disdain for Law Abiding Gun Owners.
But that is the bizarre mentality of Gun Control.
Florida: 2 Critically Important Bills on Governor’s Desk. HELP NEEDED NOW
I am going backwards here, so bear with me:
NRA-ILA Generic
FIRST, CALL THE GOVERNOR AT 850-717-9418! Use the following email address to contact the Governor: |
What for?
NRA-ILA
One, SB-128 Burden of Proof by Sen. Rob Bradley and Rep. Bobby Payne restores the presumption of innocence in self-defense cases by putting the burden of proof BACK ON THE STATE where it belongs. The second, SB-1052 Justifiable Use of Force by Sen. David Simmons and Rep. Cord Byrd corrects a 2014 drafting error (by a member of the House Criminal Justice Committee Staff) resulting in a requirement that citizens be under attack in their own homes before exercising self-defense – and in some circumstances imposing a duty to retreat from your home before exercising self-defense. Abusive prosecutors and anti-gun organizations are already working hard trying to get the Governor to veto these bills. Prosecutors and anti-gun State Attorneys are lobbying the Governor’s staff with hysterical predictions and disinformation about the burden of proof and self-defense issues. They conspired to deprive you of your basic fundamental right of innocence until proven guilty, in self-defense cases, and are aggressively fighting to stop the restoration of those rights. You must help us fight this attack on your self-defense rights. PLEASE contact the Governor immediately. |
OK People, One Phone Call and one email is not gonna kill you. You know the Opposition is not calling but probably using hired callers. Get moving!

Rep. Cook, Paul [R-CA-8]
Rep. Flores, Bill [R-TX-17]
Rep. DeSantis, Ron [R-FL-6]
It stands at 43 sponsors, but it is moving in the right direction. Here is the list of sponsors so far and there is a good chance yours ain’t in it. You may want to drop him/her a line.
