It has been a while since I made a post about gear, mostly because I don’t get gear sent for review. (I ain’t tactical enough?)

Since I lost so much weight,  my The Wilderness tactical belts which were the only belts I used, were rendered obsolete. They are worn but still in great shape, but they no longer fit me nor carry the gun safely because they just simply drop from my waist.  So I went looking for another belt and possibly in non-tactical look, just a nice leather belt stiff enough to carry concealed safely.

After checking around online, I bought the Kore Black Leather Gun Belt. It has a ratchet system rather than holes or the velcro patches to secure and I have to say I am impressed: It is comfortable to wear and it does keep the holster nice and tight against your body. I like the ratchet system as I can adjust it tighter or looser by fractions of an inch. The belt itself looks great: a conservative black look with a buckle that looks good but it is not flashy.

The regular belt covers pant sizes from 22 to 44 and then they have the 44 to 54 size so that should cover most everybody.  Only one recommendation: Practice unlocking the belt a lot. It is not hard, but it is a totally new skill set that your hands need to learn and having an urgent need to partake seating at the porcelain throne is not the moment to develop those skills.

Final thought? I am happy with the belt. I will se myself buying another in the future.

Yesterday I went to a local used book store because it is nearby and the name agrees with my age group and attitude.

Unfortunately they were unexpectedly close for some reason, but I did get a laugh at the business across the street which I suspect it belongs to the same person(s).

The RV is something I should have investigated.  Sort of like a DoorDash for bail money? Remote operations center?

Anyway, if you need to get out of jail and are bored and in need of some reading to pass the time till your release, you know who to call.

How’s that “Defund the Police” coming along Mayor De Blasio? Oh yes, he is going to pay extortion money to violent criminals so they stop being criminals.

But they is sophisticated! We bumpkins would just shoot the suckers and call for a clean up service.

This is a small but significant part of Biden’s speech yesterday.

But I always promised the American people that I will be straight with you.  The truth is: This did unfold more quickly than we had anticipated.

They were expecting it, they knew it was going to happen.  But rather than mitigate the cluster fuck we are seeing today, we were given images and news bits of armed forces training to walk on high heels or learn about LGQBTHSONGDG, et rights or how to properly open your pores after a grueling day of Critical Race Theory training.

And truthfully, Afghanistan was never going to become a Western style democracy but a country under the control of anybody who had the balls to kill more than the other guy. But, was there a reason we had to leave them so many weapons other than having a bunch of fuck ups wearing stars?

Will there be an attack on American soil? No idea, probably.  Biden has told the world we are castrated as a country and we can be fucked with without consequences. But then again, that castration could be temporary and last only till the next presidential election and depending who wins, the enemies of the country may want to reconsider a direct attack because I believe this time there will be a little fallout left all over the offending party.
