I am playing with some kydex…. doing some clean up around the so-called office and other odds and ends. I’ll just add random thoughts and bits…. Updating through the afternoon.

(3:34pm) I am a firm believer that New Yorkers are all talk and zero balls. Not only they are being whipped into good socialist comrades by Mayor Bloomberg, but the moment they get in a confrontation where physical violence is a strong possibility, they collapse faster than a Jenga  game playing in a rollercoaster. (3:45pm) I am sad to see that famous holster makers are selling crap products. Wife got me a Snap-Off Elite for my Rossi snubbie and it has been a total disappointment. I had to replace both snaps since the originals fell off and had to add a kydex insert because the leather was so thin and malleable I had difficulties holstering the gun. I contacted El Paso Saddlery when the first snap came off and I am still waiting to hear from them. The only reason I have not tossed the damn thing out is because SWMBO paid $80+ for the damn thing that now looks like Frankenstein had a hand on it.

(3:50) Gorilla Glue will bond kydex with leather. But be a frigging miser with the damn glue, even the new transparent one that allegedly does not foam as much or you will have a reprise of The Blob.

(3:57pm) Excess glue removed before it dried too much. Off to make coleslaw.

(4;45pm) Coleslaw done, dogs ready to boil, buns ready to steam. Waiting for the Boss to get home. Holster is officially fixed, must scrape excess glue.
