This is JD’s third book, and the action packed Above Reproach and False Gods, reading this fictional (not so fictional) humor was a very enjoyable surprise. If you are/were a dog owner, you will immediately identify with the tales. And if you never were, well, you get an inside look at the mind of a dog owner. which might be a bit disturbing sometimes.
And yes, German Shep (or any of the big ones) can be annoying to bathe. A side of our house would grow a beard before we were done with the two of them.

1- Shouldn’t it be “Dog’s side”, as possessive of dog; or “Dogs’ side”, as possessive of multiple dogs?
