Can you imagine if this was true?

Hell. I am even willing to actually PAY for the gun if they deliver it home!
And don’t make me go through the adoption part.
On the other hand.
1) Go to the elections office in person, fill out a form attesting that you are not a felon, adjudged mentally incompetent, habitual drug user, a fugitive from justice or an illegal alien.
2) Present a photo ID with name address and date of birth.
3) Undergo an FBI background check, wait anywhere between a couple of minutes to up to 3 days for the background check to be approved.
4) If all of the above is satisfactory, vote in person.
Just literally felt sick reading this.
My spouse wants an AR15 for a birthday present and is desperately sending me different preban listings for around 4.000 dollars for old crap, because anything AR15 – like in other than lr22 is verboten in this God forsaken state.
I have no words left
Note that the first tweet was from a person apparently named “Arne Duncan”. I wonder if that’s the same person who was once Secretary of Education (for Obama). It would make sense, education bureaucrats have no connection to any known reality, that appears to be a requirement for the job.
@pkoning: That was my first thought. How many “Arne Duncan”s can there be on the Left?
There might well be a bunch, Arne is a common Scandinavian name (my example of a good guy with that name would be Arne Boberg). But after some searching I can confirm it’s indeed the same guy. He’s now involved with an outfit in Palo Alto called the “Emerson Collective”, described as “a social change organization focused on education, immigration reform, the environment, media and journalism, and health”. Ouch.
In other words, they’re set up to beg for grant money from just about everybody.
Good positioning, from the point of view of maximizing the potential grift.
