The answer is simple: They can run for Congress like everybody else. Of course, there is that pesky thing of REPRESENTING the people….

Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

I didn’t watch or listen to him, cant stand the sound of his f___ing voice or sight of his f___ing face!
Rush will be on in an hour and I’ll listen to the facts then.
I agree with him. Put it to a vote.
It won’t pass, but we will then know, officially, who to vote out of office in the next election. And if he doesn’t believe it, look at the 94 and 96 elections after the first AWB.
I was trying not to listen; bozo was on the TV in the other room. This was incredibly stupid.
They all have a vote now. We voted. They lost.
Actually, no, they do not get to vote on it!
In a pure democracy, we have the two wolves voting that the sheep is to be their lunch. That is not what we have here in the United States. To prevent a tyranny of the majority, our Constitution has some safeguards built in to it.
In our representative Constitutional Republic, our Second Amendment recognizes my innate right to keep and bear arms, so the vote of the two wolves is now contested by the armed sheep (and I would say effectively vetoed).
They would have to first pass a Constitutional Amendment before they can try to have a “common sense” conversation with me. Until then, they can go pound sand.
Even then, an inalienable right such as my “Life” as in “…Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness…” cannot be nullified by compromising my right of self-defense. It cannot be ignored or denied. It is above laws they can pass.
