  1. Yes, it would be legal if it was set up that it could only be operated by a hand crank.

    Before they retired from the military, I worked with 3 guys who now work at Dillon Aero, one being the Director of Engineering.

  2. Yup. Hand cranked because each barrel is a semi-automatic. Totally legal. If hand cranked direct drive, not hand cranked electric generator…

    Now, ‘accidentally’ hook up the handcrank to an electric motor using a pulley? You will be able to hear the halls of the BATFE emptying like the Wicked Witch’s Castle when she sent the flying monkeys out, as all of BATFE’s flying monkeys come for you!
