Then again, Hanlon’s Razor may be in play. Still, I am a paranoid and would just walk out of that pawnshop. Partake this:FacebookTwitterMorePrintEmailLike this:Like Loading... You have to think “What FFL would put a Glock with Glock Switch on display?” And at a “reasonable” price? Do they not know what it is? I’m sure that the ATF has put out multiple notices to FFLs about be on the look out for Glock Switches.
And how does a FFL look at a Glock with switch and not wonder WTF is this?
There’s different types of FFL’s. Pawn shops are ‘Type 2’. Most of those aren’t ‘gun guys’ like 1,3, or 7’s. https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/fact-sheet/fact-sheet-federal-firearms-and-explosives-licenses-types
Oy Veh ! Such a deal ! I can let you have it for only 5-10 years
Sure looks like an Akbar moment waiting to happen.
MAYBE the pawn shop doesn’t know what that is….. maybe…heh heh.
I had a patient that somehow asked me if a I had a machine gun. I said no. He asked if I wanted him to get one for me–off the book. Eeeeek! He asked when I had a lunch break. I said that I wasn’t getting one that day. Fortunately, I never heard from him again.
Is that the cash price, or do I have to fill out a 4473 too?
