The man accused of trying to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh at the US supreme court justice’s home in Maryland last week is facing a possible life sentence after a federal grand jury indicted him on Wednesday.

Nicholas John Roske, 26, faces one count of attempting to murder an associate justice of the supreme court, federal prosecutors said in a statement.

If you think pragmatically cruel, it is a great strategy: You chum the waters for mentally deranged followers, one of them kills a conservative Justice, scares the others and then your Senile in Chief’s proxies nominate an ultra-liberal judge who gets approved by the Senate still holding a majority by the Democrats.

In their view, extreme things need to happen before the elections in November. I think they far that like in Florida, not even the cheating will be enough to stop The Change. In fact, if I were in DeSantis inner circle, I would bump the security around the Governor.

Even if you don’t shoot green tip, cutting back almost one-third of available 5.56 ammo would cause a price spike in the remaining ammo.

Not just that but Lake City brass is used by a lot of other manufacturers, so the availability of other 223 loads will be reduced as well.

This is a malicious and purposeful attack on US gun owners.

Via AP News: Tentative Senate gun deal has surprises, and loose ends

The outline of a bipartisan Senate agreement to rein in gun violence has no game-changing steps banning the deadliest firearms. It does propose measured provisions making it harder for some young gun buyers, or people considered threatening, to have weapons.

The deadliest weapon is a man with nothing left to lose. The tool he uses does not matter.

They are proposing allowing juvenile records to be part of a NICS check. This seems to be a reasonable path, if we have NICS make sure it includes the records of the animals that have juvenile records. “Well known to law enforcement until they turned 18” seems a poor tactic.

They are talking about extending the time till a NICS check defaults. Currently a NICS check either gives a “proceed”, a “deny” or “wait.” After three days an FFL can proceed after a “wait.” The proposal changes that from 3 days to 7 with the ability to proceed after 10 days. So instead of half a week, two weeks if the government does a slow down.

When I first moved here I found that every time I did a NICS check I got a wait. Turns out that Maryland just never responded to NICS check requests that would result in a “proceed” thereby adding a 3 day waiting period for anybody that moved out of state.

This went on for nearly 5 years. I can easily see them doing an intentional slow down. All you have to do is look at how long it takes to get permission to by ear protection devices that attach to your firearm. (Suppressors)

There are proposals to increase the removal of firearms without due process. Unlikely to have any punishment for those that abuse the system. The biggest push is to allow casual relations to result in the ability to get an EPO. So you might want to not stick it in crazy.

They claim that they aren’t going to ban semi-automatic rifles, but keep an eye out. There is no reason to trust these people.

Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm insists high gas prices are ‘a very compelling case’ to buy an electric car: Official is worth $8million and recently exercised $1.6m stock option in electric car company

President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm became the latest Democratic politician to suggest the solution to high gas prices was to buy an electric vehicle.

Granholm, in a clip tweeted out by the Republican National Committee Tuesday, made the case for going electric amid sky high gas prices.

‘If you filled up your EV [electric vehicle] and you filled up your gas tank with gasoline, you would save $60 per fill-up by going electric rather than using gasoline but it’s a very compelling case, but again, we want to bring down the price at the point of purchase,’ Granholm, the former governor of Michigan, said.

Her comments come as the national average price for one gallon of gas has skyrocketed to over $5.

Granholm made similar points in a White House press briefing in May 2021, according to Fox News.

‘If you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you,’ she said at the time.

Granholm, who is worth $8million according to Forbes, recently served as director of an electric car company – and held millions in the firm’s stock.

Last month she exercised stock options in the company, called Proterra, pocketing $1.6million from the transaction, according to an energy department spokesperson.

It is absolutely personal for them.

They invest in green energy and electric car companies.

They fuck you right in the gass hole, encouraging the purchase of an electric car, then they cash out on your misery.

In a healthy society this should be illegal.

But we are not a healthy society.

We are a decrepit society run by elderly corrupt millionaires who have decades of experience in perverting the system so they can grift off of it.

They hate you and will use every ounce of authority they have to squeeze your money out of you and put it in their pockets.
