Democrats are fighting among each other about who is more papist than the Pope just to attract the core leftist fanatics to vote for them in the primaries. That simple. They have to know or at least suspect they do not stand a chance against DeSantis but still need to keep collecting relevance points amongst the faithful.

And as long as DeSantis remains in Tallahassee, no democrat has a chance to sit in the Governor’s office. I wouldn’t be surprised if the secretly support him to run for president to locate the post.

Any country’s military forces who is worth anything*, is closely following the Ukranian conflict to see the performance of the hardware being used and the readiness of the personnel involved in the action. And it is not a simple issue of taking sides in the name of God, Justice and Flying White Unicorned Doves but just the serious business of war: What would happen if we have to face this fuckers in the battlefield? Does my gear hold up against their gear? What are their strengths and weaknesses?  How much do I need to spend to take out one (tank/chopper/APC/SAM site/etc.)?

Just about now and by the way the Soviets Russians are being held by a numerically inferior force, China should be licking its chops about its chances of maybe taking a bite or two of the Siberian resources.  And the supply chain to the East border is a long and nasty one compared to sending more stuff to Next Room Ukraine. A conventional war may not go nicely for Putin and the Soviet Russian Military because even if the Chinese stuff is about the same quality as the Moscow crap, they probably have 20 or 30 times more and China really does not give a crap about sacrificing hundreds of thousands of soldiers in the battlefield and subsequent evacuation.

Anyway, that is my very uninformed and non-expert opinion.

In the Progressive Utopia, the criminal has an absolute right to help themselves to your property.

You probably obtained your property through privilege and exploitation and the poor criminal is probably an oppressed person.

Your defense of your property is illegal and will be prosecuted.

The theft of your property may be nominally illegal but the thief will never be seriously punished for taking from a privileged person.

If you think the system is there to protect you as a taxpayer, that’s where you’re wrong.

You don’t pay taxes for services.

You pay taxes because you are afraid of going to prison if you don’t.

The services are incidental.

It’s best to just watch your property go out your door until you go broke then resign yourself to living on government assistance.

It may not be right, but it’s legal.
