If you live in the south, you are probably familiar with the Waffle House Index.

Waffle House restaurants are open 24/7.

If a major storm, like a hurricane comes through,  they are usually the last to close and the first to open.

They actually have a crisis team to go into disaster areas and get Waffle House restaurants back up an running.

The Waffle House Index is a tongue in cheek but very real measure of how an area is doing by how many Waffle House restaurants are closed and/or are serving only their limited crisis menu.

If you want to know just how badly the Biden Administration fucked this country, this is a good metric:

Waffle House had to go to its crisis menu without there being a natural disaster.

It’s a nice cool morning.  Thought I’d mow the lawn.  The gas can was empty so I went to Harris Teeter (NC subsidiary of Kroger) for gas.

The pickup was empty too so I figured I’d kill two birds with one trip to the pump.

A pickup and a lawnmower cost $89.02 to fill with regular pump gas.

Virginia law requires public schools to report specifically named serious crimes.

Rape is obviously a serious crime on that list.

But the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has refused to report those. They have a clean record.

Does hiding crime in schools sound vaguely familiar? You may remember another school angel whose criminal actions were constantly whitewashed by the school, system and the resource officers so the school wouldn’t have bad reputation. Unfortunately, little angel finally met somebody who stood against his criminal behavior and now is worm food.

I think what irks me the most is that the task force “would like to speak” with the arsonist. What the fuck? Over for coffee and crumpets?   To chat about the latest episode of The View?  Any other skin pigmentation and we would have seen a task force comprised of the NYPD, FBI and ATF.
