Several impounded dogs due to be rescued by a shelter have instead been shot dead by a rural council in NSW under its interpretation of COVID-19 restrictions, alarming animal activists and prompting a government probe.

Bourke Shire Council, in the state’s north-west, killed the dogs to prevent volunteers at a Cobar-based animal shelter from travelling to pick up the animals last week, according to council’s watchdog, the Office of Local Government.

For some reason I am reminded that serial killers start by killing pets and then graduate to kill people. You do have to admit that livestreaming on-the-spot executions of curfew violators will be a great way to advertise you should stay home to help fight the spread of Covid. The dogs are just a test run, the pilot episode if you will.

So…I was told that if I voted for Trump for re-election, that the USA would be ruined and devolve into a Nazi-like state of affairs, and that “the rest of the world” would lose respect for us, and that we would be leaving our allies dangling in the wind with no support from us.
Well, I voted for Trump.
And I have to say, everything those people told me would happen if I voted for Trump has happened…we are going to need “papers” to travel between States (just like the Nazi’s forced their citizens to do in the 1930’s and 40’s), the rest of the world has lost respect for us due to the Mongolian fustercluck in Afghanistan, and our Allies are blaming us for the abandonment of innocents in Afghanistan after promising them that we would help to make their lives better, and future brighter.
Sleepy Joe is gonna be a one-termer…if he actually manages to stay in office that long.

This is The Loop is the restaurant and shopping center of Chicago.  It is the economic center of the city.
