The police defend Antifa, not the guy.

Look right here:

First, one guy points a pistol at the angry motorist in a blue shirt while the cop is watching. Then, the dude in the body armor threatens this guy with pepper spray, as he is walking away, right in front of the cop and the cop does nothing.

Brandishing a weapon in front of a police officer but nobody in the protest gets arrested.

In Plano, fucking, Texas.

Antifa own the streets.

Maybe not in Florida, but in much of the rest of America it is clear that Antifa can block roads, beat people, point guns at and pepper spray motorists, and the police will let them do it.

I remember reading about armed thugs blocking roads and attacking or killing people in vehicles when reading about the Rwandan genocide or the RUF taking over Sierra Leone.

Self-defense is dead and Antifa controls the public spaces in America.

We are a failed state.

They beat this man so badly they broke five of his ribs and collapsed his lung and there have been no arrests and there are not going to be.

The Portland police at the behest of the mayor have let Antifa take control of the city.

This guy is getting out of Portland, which is about the only thing he can do.

Antifa will start murdering people at roadblock soon.  This shit should have been nipped in the bud a year ago and it hasn’t.  Antifa has only been emboldened by it and now they control the streets.

I know most everybody associates Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” as the essential Miami Vice song.  But to me one song braded the series before  that one was used: This Masquerade in Season 1 Episode 2: ‘Heart of Darkness’. It is just played a bit right at the end of the episode, but it hits you like Viking axe to the chest.

Compare these bits of news.

First, from just before the pandemic:

Second, after Biden signed the American Rescue Plan:

April’s report also continued to show stark differences in unemployment by race, with minority groups such as Black Americans and Hispanics facing above-average unemployment rates of 9.7% and 7.9%, respectively.

The Left is very good at playing the long game.

If you teach minority kids math, they will understand things like numbers and percents and how 5.5% unemployment under a Republican means more jobs for Black people than 9.7% unemployment under a Democrat.

But if they teach them that there is no right answer, math is racist, and critical race theory, all they will know is that the reason they are poor is white privilege and systemic racism.

You can’t have the people that your policies harm be able to comprehend or think critically about the outcomes of those policies.

There is a method to their madness.
