Am I the only one who is damn tired of those people & groups that keep spouting ” The NRA Sucks! No Compromise!”? My favorite 3Per/This Is Sparta!/No Compromise asshole dropped this one beautiful tidbit in a forum not long ago.

i canceled my membership with the nra for the same reason. principle. to me, loyalty to a cause is a huge factor. the nra chose for their attorney in the chicago case before the supreme court the same attorney that represented dc in the heller case. now, i know that is not a big thing for a lot of people, but it is for me. where the hell is this attorney’s loyalty? make no mistake, i’m sure he’s the finest. but i just have a problem having the enemy suddenly become my advocate. i just can’t do it, sorry.

I think that my jaw dropped about 20 inches after I read this. So much stupidity compacted into 99 words is beyond belief.  I had to express my opinion to his imbecilic remark:

This ought to be one of the silliest excuses I heard so far to be anti NRA. Am I to guess that if McDonald v Chicago goes out way under the position presented by former Solicitor General Paul D. Clement, you will reject it because it is tainted by his previous case representation?

I am for bringing people into the fold.

Two weeks later I am still waiting for his response. I guess he ran out of No Compromise.

PS: While we wait, if a No Compromise follower can inform me what No Compromise group is out there with the track record of success and power that the NRA has, please indicate so in the comments.

Markham Park Range is one of the two public ranges in South Florida and the only one in Broward County. Located within the Markham Park Complex, it has Skeet and Trap, a Pistol/Rifle Range, and a Sporting Clays course.Also hosts IPSC, IDPA, Steel and Cowboy Action matches and I am guessing I am missing somebody somewhere. Some say that the fees collected at the range basically help sustain the rest of the park.

The City of Sunrise, strapped for cash like any other city, was in the process of approving permits for a new Hotel & Corporate park when they found out that barely half a mile south of the proposed location, there was a gun range <gasp>. Now the vote has been postponed and I wonder if the machinations have begun in order to close the range as they drool over the possibilities of tax income, kickbacks and paid political favors for the construction project.  And to cap a beautiful idea for Gun Owners, another article seems to suggest that the hotel to be built might be a Marriot. After the legal faux pas during the NRA convention, Wouldn’t that just top it all?

Browsing through Youtube, I landed on a batch of clips titled “Why Girls (or women) shouldn’t shoot (Desert Eagle, AK 47, 12 gauge shotguns, your-pick-here.) It really pisses me off twofold: first, what kind of low life sets up an inexperienced woman with a firearm, tapes her failure and posts its in the internet for the world to laugh at her? And second, Moron Boyfriend (probably a 3per) just transformed this woman into a full fledged victim because she will probably never touch another firearm again even if her life depends on it!

Ladies, if you are dating an idiot like that, dump his ass. If you are married to one, divorce him, take all his worldly posessions and move next door to a cute firearms instructor. There is no reason to be afraid of guns other than not being trained and not knowing how to handle one. There are a lot of firearms instructors that will teach you the basics and the more advanced stuff so you can defend yourself.  And there is a program called First Shots where you can go get your first experience with firearms for free.

Even though the net is plagued with the above mentioned videos, you can easily find the good ones like this young lady shooting for the first time and getting good at it or a Liberal shooting for the first time or a 12 year old girl shooting a full size .45 or young Heather shooting full size .357 Magnum and sharing her thoughts and even a woman shooting a supressed (gasp!) fully automatic MP-5. All of them have also another thing in common: They are smiling which means they are having fun! What are the odds?

And the love of my life shooting her Rossi snub nose in .357 Magnum. She is so good at it I am a well behaved hubby!

Go get some training, get empowered and have some fun!

According to the caption on this video, the shooter is handling (badly) a Glock 18 full auto. Full Automatic firearms are cool, but like Linda Blair, they can be possessed by the evils of recoil and bite you.

The Iron Pipeline is the importation of illegal guns that land in Newark and are to be used to kill cops. (end ominous music) This is according to Newark’s Police Director Garry McCarthy. In the video you will see an M16, an MP5k and even a good old SKS.

You know and I know that we just can’t go to the local Mom & Pop gun shop or Gun Show and walk away with full auto weapons (I know, a shock to Bloomberg et all) so it makes you wonder where in the heck these “Cop Killing Weapons” came from. Since only Law Enforcement have easy access to full auto firearms and there have been cases of such weapons being stolen from police cruisers and assorted feds, one has to wonder if the first responsible in feeding the Iron Pipeline are dumb LEOs. Call it The Blue on Blue Iron Pipeline.

Amazingly at work they offered CPR/Heimlich and AED (automated external defibrillator) training not only for free but you got paid overtime for it. Upon completion, you will get not only a nice card saying you are now a standing member of those who may be able to save a life, but also a card valid for 2 years displaying such info. A life-saving set of techniques taught under the best of incentives and several individuals rejected the idea. Some even verbally degraded it with various colorful idioms.

Some of the dissidents were old farts, set in their ways and so soured with life they plainly didn’t give a squat. I am guessing that the fact that they had to come to work at odd hours interrupting their mac & cheese and that day’s episode of Oprah was too much to sacrifice. A couple of youngins assumed their gansta stances and replied with the standard “Hey man. That just bullshit. I don’t need that shit.” Other not so young excused themselves by using a myriad of reasons, but I  could read out of their bodies and verbal patterns was that they were too embarrassed to be embarrassed in front of others.

I asked one of the youngins what would he do if his Mom ( a woman with a history of vascular problems) would suddenly need CPR. His answer was “I’ll call Call 911.” When asked what would it happen if 911 or rescue wasn’t immediately available, his response was “Why it wouldn’t be?”

It saddens the hell out of me that people are willing to be mentally castrated this way. In order to save face, they rather depend on the kindness of the Government to help them get out of trouble. Then when their dreams dead stop as they hit the shoals of reality, they moan and complain and demand more government control. It is sort of trying to treat a rattlesnake bite by injecting more poison into your veins. It must hurt to think logically while pride is in the way.

David Codrea brings us the health tip of the day courtesy of Kaiser Permanente. It seems that among the many things you can do to improve your quality of life such as wearing a seat belt, eat fruits and vegetables or drinking fluids, you should unload and lock away all your firearms.

As I am reading this, I have the TV on in the background where I can hear our local Murder und Mayhem TV station providing info on a home robbery invasion that happened in Plantation, nearby beautiful Fort Lauderdale.

Police said, at around 12:34 Tuesday morning, an intruder stormed into the home along Northwest Sixth Court and 75th Terrace and tied up and robbed the couple inside. “I heard some shots,” said Adino.

Neighbors said even though the husband cooperated with the intruder and handed over valuables, he was shot dead. “Why did they kill him? She said they gave them everything that they have, so why did he kill him,” said Adino, baffled.

So how are these two items connected? They are not… yet.

You know it will happen eventually. Somebody will actually heed the “Health Care Professional’s” advise, secure his or her firearms and get killed by those stupid instructions. If we are lucky, a huge and necessary lawsuit will ensue and send a company into a tailspin. Pundits will come out to defend the imbecile that came up with this amazing stupidity and point out that you actually have no chance to defend yourself in this situation. The usual fake statistic researches will pop out telling you that you are more liable to die with a gun in your house and the victim will be blamed for having appealing consumer goods in the household that attracted the poor criminal who has been denied the good things in life by an uncaring society. Of course the NRA, SAF, GOA, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, El Niño, Global Warming, Gun Bloggers, and a slew of others will get a lion’s share of the blame for not contributing with the creation of Walden 2 as the Gods of Progressive Thinking have intended.

If you happen to be under the care of a physician or medical group that subscribe to the idea that you are a stumbling idiot and must be kept disarmed in the name of political correctness, I suggest you print out a copy of this form and have them sign it: FIREARMS SAFETY COUNSELING REPRESENTATION: PHYSICIAN QUALIFICATIONS AND LIABILITY and them promptly ignore their advice. Remember that those carrying a stethoscope are harmful to your health.
