Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. When my fellow libertarian / conservative activists learn that I’m bisexual and married to a man, the reaction is usually some variation of “meh.”

When LGBT activists learn that I’m a libertarian / conservative, the reaction is usually some variation of “fuck you, you fucking fuck!”

Now, I know full well that the plural of “anecdote” is not “data,” but my experience has been mirrored by sooo many LGBT libertarians and conservatives that I have to assume it’s a trend.

Given the extremely public hatred for Caitlyn Jenner, Blair White, Peter Thiel, Chris Barron, Mary Cheney, and others have received over the years… Yeah, it’s a trend.

(Milo doesn’t count. He actively encourages progressives and liberals into hating him It’s his whole schtick.)

    1. Yes, that makes sense. Another place where you can see this is to look at the work of Erin Palette (founder of Operation Blazing Sword) and the reaction she gets from fellow gun enthousiasts.
And the way conservative blacks are treated certainly seems to go well beyond “anecdote”.
