The problem is that the idea that law abiding blacks should not own guns is an idea pushed by white Liberals and black leaders.
Law abiding middle class blacks, like law abiding middle class Jews, have been effectively disarmed by their own leaders. So while it should offend them that he says something like this, black leadership will mostly nod their heads in agreement.
