A Black Gay racist ex-prostitute and former TV reporter who bought the gun through a gun shop, passed a background check and a long waiting period, kills two people live on TV because of what he perceived to be racial insults against him. The father of one of the victims swears he is gonna go against all comers for gun control….right after he gets a gun of his own because protection. Even the White House itself claims that the new Gun Controls measures they and Gun Control organizations are demanding in the wake of this incident would have not prevented the killings…
And the best your cartoonist can come up with is to portray gun owners as a fat white guy, open carrying a gun in a county that is 65% minority in a state that does not have Open Carry?
And you still wonder why you had to sell your ocean front property and now work out of a warehouse the opposite side of town?
And you wonder why Gun Control is losing?
If you’re worried you might get shot, arm and equip yourself for self defense. Take a firearm course. Get your CCW. Enhance your situational awareness. Don’t be a sheep with your face buried in your phone/tablet. Pay attention towns surroundings. Stop depending on others to protect you. Even the police aren’t obligated to protect you. You and you alone are responsible for your own safety.
And, except for the last frame, the cartoonist doesn’t seem to understand how to use the word “opportunity.” That’s simply the wrong word in every other frame. No one with a full grasp of the English language would use it that way.

Polls come out saying that more guns in the hand of law-abiding citizens brings down crime. But, all the anti-gun and gun-grabbers ignore that very important statistic. They rather play on the emotions of ignorant people. The Liberal Media doesn’t publicize those that defended themselves and others. If an 83 year old grandma can defend herself and her grandchildren when a thug broke into the house, she shot him. Every time a person gets shot, especially white on black the Liberal Media and Gun-grabbers appeal for more control. They don’t want to hear statistics like 93% of blacks are killed BY blacks. That doesn’t fit their agenda. People GROW UP and see what’s actually going on and WHO’S making the big noise about Gun Control. I consider gun control is having BOTH hands on the gun.
