While Houses of Prayer of all denominations are pumping up their security, including parishioners with their own weapons, the government of New Zealand is getting ready to make the almost naked even more naked.

The crowd in attendance at a vigil at Auckland’s Aotea Square cheered loudly when Attorney-General David Parker said the Government would ban semi-automatic rifles.

And if anything should be indicative of the sheer stupidity of a government who hates armed citizens:

“The fourth person who was arrested yesterday was a member of the public who was in a possession of a firearm, but with the intention of assisting police,” Ardern said.

That person had been released, she confirmed.

Mass shooter, citizen steps up to help cops, gets arrested. I get you don’t want the help for questions of liability, but you send the guy home, not arrest him.

And since we ar not in New Zealand or at least most of the States of the Union are not New Zealand-like, please carry this weekend and you may want to add extra mags to the load.
