Stop demanding a Martial Law to stop Trump.

So, you would not get to have a do over while Obama stays in power. Martial Law means that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff would assume total control of the United States. That person would be USMC General Joseph Dunford:

Methinks they don’t understand that martial law would put a stop to all varieties of public physical protest, including all the manners they intend to perform at the inauguration.
So, Ms. O’Donnell: now politicians are guilty until “cleared of all charges”? (a) What charges have been initiated in what venue? (b) while I certainly agree, politicians are vermin until they are proven to be vermin, presently, “That’s Not How This Works! That’s Not How Any Of This Works!” ©. (c) So, Ms. O’Donnell, what you are asking for is that the military, whom you deride both collectively and individually, as well as culturally, be In Control, running things, until this unicorn court decides that “Trump is guilty” of whatever the slander du jour happens to be, right? Have you thought this through, even for such a minuscule value of “through” as seems to be within your capabilities?

No Miguel, that’s not how it works. On September 15, 1863, President Lincoln imposed Congressionally-authorized martial law. Lincoln was still in charge not the Generals.
On September 29, 2006, President George W. Bush signed the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2007 (H.R. 5122). The law expanded the President’s authority to declare Martial Law under revisions to the Insurrection Act and actually allowed the President to take charge of National Guard troops without state governor authorization. The President takes charge, NOT the Generals.

Go ahead, declare martial law. It will be funny seeing those troops rally around Trump’s secretary of defense pick. Do these clowns think Obama would be able to exert any influence at all? Martial law is literally the exact opposite of what these people would want, and they’d find that out when their “protest” in DC on inauguration day was stomped to pieces by the military.
Martial law would be focused on the cities where most liberal vermin live. How about we ignore the 3rd Amendment and house Marines with them.
