On the one hand, I believe that quote is basically true. On the other hand, I have no issue with capitalist farmers who choose to go organic to serve that market.
My problem is pro-organic folks who have no clue about what would happen if organic farming was mandated as the prime (or only) farming method. There are also plenty of pro-organic folks who have no clue that “organic” doesn’t mean “no pesticides.”
I’ve always found the term “organic” quite comical, because all farm products are “organic” in the sense of being made up of organic chemicals — carbon compounds.
