Two reasons I never got into Law Enforcement were Child Abuse and Domestic Violence. Having to remain calm and professional after seeing a woman or a child beaten, abused or raped would have driven me insane, chemically dependent or in prison.

And unfortunately, our community is not spared from idiots. TacTissy was the target of domestic violence, but she has come forward and called it.

Whomever the idiot was that hurt her, he must be one scared sumbitch. We don’t take kindly to his brand of macho.

So many acres… so little lime.

  1. During my time as a cop, I had one buddy who under normal circumstances was a regular, fun-loving guy…kind of the class clown of the department. But get him on a child abuse call and he would just about come unglued. You pretty much had to just get him outside and away from it before he ruined his career, and let another officer handle it. None of it was ever easy

I freely admit that I often attempted to provoke domestic abusers into taking a swing at me, just to have an excuse to dish out a little street justice. Funny thing is, not one of them…ever…felt like taking a poke at a 6-foot tall, 200-pound adult male. In fact, many of them would turn on the waterworks and start boo-hooing. It is not usually a very manly “man” who smacks a woman.

  2. His name is Coward with a capital ‘C’. Another sad case that shows the absolute need for 24/7 carry. A quick cranial lead injection would resolve the Coward’s issues. I pray the TacTissy heals quickly and fully.

  3. This video came out on her facebook page about the middle of January… since then she’s posted a number of other videos, and in each one she looks a little better. She has not currently given details of her case or its resolution.
She’s got a tough row to hoe, but there’s cause to be hopeful.
