Who is Dan Muroff?
Muroff, 48, was the first to throw his hat into this now-crowded Democratic primary. (Mark your calanders: election day is coming up fast.) He’s looking to unseat veteran U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah — who faces a string of federal corruption charges and a dwindling campaign coffer — and gun violence prevention is his big campaign issue.
A well-known attorney and Democratic ward leader in Mount Airy, Muroff has a long history of advocating for smarter gun control. He calls it a “public health crisis,” the effects of which can be felt in the second congressional district that includes parts of North Philadelphia and Montgomery County.

Well, there is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.
Chaka Fattah has been my district’s elected congressman since who knows how long. The district will vote heavily democratic as most of the voters are urban and ignorant.
The fact that this crook has been around for so long goes to show you things won’t change with the new guy. Don’t think he’ll be a leader on anything but himself.
I wasn’t aware that self defense was a sporting event. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard all day, but it’s still early.

When they said “Mount Airy” I immediately thought of N.C. (the real-life town of Andy Griffith’s Mayberry).
The plus side is that now we know that they support self-defense with revolvers at least. They always say how they don’t want to impose upon “sportsmen”.
The hypocrisy is strong with this one he will go far in the Democratic Party
I don’t think anyone should vote for someone that can’t see a difference between hunting and self defense.What a clown.
Because when self-defense using a gun is necessary, my greatest concern is whether I’m “sporting”.
