I have seen in different places comments about how cool is it that the pissed off mama’s boys and girls of the Opposition suddenly feel the need to arm themselves, because that means we are getting people on our side. I am going to disagree with that and a lot.
While I do think there will be a subset that may go buy guns and after jumping through all the legal hoops, realize that we were right about the stupidity of the laws, these will me such a small fraction that it won’t matter much in the great scheme of things. I am a believer that most of those who want guns on that side of the electrified fence are people like this professor from Rutgers:
By the way, this tweet (who he deleted) and others got him a small trip to a mental facility for a check up and he was pissed about it. Now, do we really want our enemies to be armed and go postal on us? No, but we don’t have a choice if they want to buy guns as it is their right and I am not gonna do a thing to curtail it. However I draw the line on giving them instruction on Gun Safety and Defensive use of Firearms. Why would I teach morons like that how to properly kill me? You know damn well they will ignore the realities and legalities of Self-defense laws and claim my sole existence on this planet was threatening enough to ambush me and my family. Yes, they will use the bullshit the newspapers and other media have been misinforming about gun uses trying to get an equivalent of the Joe Biden Shotgun Advice: both a failure and a danger to everybody involved. And also, their criminal use of firearm will be touted as example by the gun control groups they support as another example why we need more restrictive laws to keep away the guns from criminals and the mentally off-his-rocker. (Don’t forget the Opposition will eat, BBQ, filet and in general sacrifice its own for the cause.)
The good news is that most of the enraged idiots will not bother to get their asses to a Gun Shop to buy a gun. Gun Shops are scary places filled with Rednecks at the counters and secret rooms in the back filled with Nazi paraphernalia, rocket launchers and silenced Mac 10s. And they know that because they saw it in a movie!
So basically my stance is: Screw them, let them continue to be victims and wait for the cops to arrive.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. I could not, in good conscience, sell a gun to someone who voted Hillary and is now buying a gun because Trump won the election. Given the current dialogue, there’s too much chance that they’ll be using it to gun down whites, men, and Trump voters. Including me.
how could you tell – I am a liberal and a former army veteran who looks like any other redneck in Texas. I just picked up my AR at Cabelas last week, and yes I can very good with it. I will absolutely defend myself from what i fear will be a dictatorship govt.

I don’t believe in giving/selling/teaching guns to liberals under any circumstances. There’s simply too much herd mentality involved- witness the fact that almost half the nation voted Rotting Zombie Hillary just a little while ago. I’m sure they’ll feel real bad when you get herded into the cage, but they aren’t going to do anything to stop it form happening.
I clicked on the linked article, and I know the saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover”, but Christ, I don’t like the idea of a guy that looks like the stereotypical hipster douche (man bun, gauges, arm tattoo) to own guns OR be teaching college classes.
