Watching Mark Zuckerberg square off against Congress is like watching cancer square off against tertiary syphilis with America being the body

On one side we have a wealthy, out of touch, oligarch who thinks his money and political influence puts him above the law and gives him the supreme moral authority to shape America how he wants and uses our personal information against us.

On the other side we have a group of wealthy, out of touch, oligarchs who thinks their money and political influence puts them above the law and gives them the supreme moral authority to shape America how they want and uses our personal information against us.

One is a private company and not bound by the Constitution, the other has long since stopped giving a fuck about the Constitution.

Do I want the cancer of Congress to have to power to regulate a society destroying, data mining, privacy ignoring, venereal disease of a website?

Or do I root for the youth ruining super vilian?

Whoever wins we lose.

Spread the love

  1. Meh. I have no use for the communal addictive stupidity called “social media.”

Just about everybody I know kept doing their best to peer-pressure me into joining the libtard group-think Borg collective. Turned them down every time, using as much diplomacy as I was able.
Now that shit-got-real with the Fakebook brouhaha, I can pay them back for their incessant nagging with a hearty “TOLD YOU SO, MORON!” 😀

  2. Amazing how people get duped into things like social media. Its just one big advertisment and another way to follow you around. I am out of it. I advertise my business the old fashioned way- print media. And a website. Social media is just used to destroy peoples lives.
