Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

I’ve been listening to Evanescence since their debut. I’m a believer that good music is good music, no matter the genre.
I have loved Amy Lee’s voice since Evanescence first appeared on the scene. I do miss Ben Moody’s guitar work, though.
Amy Lee definitely reminds me of some great woman singers. Like them or not, great voice, really engages you.
Might not be my go-to music genre, but definitely will not change the station when she comes on.

Different sound altogether, but stumbled across Lake Street Dive a while back, and Rachael Price’s voice is captivating.

To echo other commenters, Amy Lee makes that band. First heard her when Evanescence came on the scene in ‘03 and have always loved her work. Not all of their songs were my cup of tea, but I’ve never disliked any of her work.

If you want another good one, Amy Lee did a duet with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm (who’s a great vocalist in her own right) and if I had one word to describe it, it would be, “Damn!”
Small correction: Amy Lee IS that band. It originally was Amy Lee and Ben Moody, but he left while touring for Fallen. So now it’s pretty much Amy Lee.
