I am getting really tired of David Hogg.
He has become the face of the Parkland shooting moment by becming and activist while unjustifiably wrapping himself in the unimpugnable character of “survivor.” I use survivor in quotes because he wasn’t shot, he wasn’t even in the same building as the shooting. He was hiding in a room in another building wondering how he could get the whole thing on video and use it for activism.
“While I was in there, I thought, ‘What impact have I had? What will my story be if I die here?’” said the student, who works at the school’s TV station and volunteers at a local newspaper.
“The only thing I could think of was, pull out my camera and try telling others,” he continued. “As a student journalist, as an aspiring journalist, that’s all I could think: Get other people’s stories on tape. If we all die, the camera survives, and that’s how we get the message out there, about how we want change to be brought about.”
We know that he wants to be a professional journalist. So obviously he is running towards every camera, news crew, and opinion show he can. He was even been doing his own interviews of students during the shooting, and has continued since then.
His dad is a retired FBI agent, and for a shooting that “everyone predicted,” it seems that telling his dad about it wasn’t on his list of things to do.
I’m not buying into the conspiracy theories, I’m just saying that he is an opportunistic media attention whore.
He has gone on the record to defend the BSO RSO coward Scot Peterson, for not running into the building to protect the kids. He went on the record to defend the FBI.
Who he has blamed for the shooting is the NRA and Dana Loesch.
If it were just the typical far Left leaning activism that he is engaged in, I wouldn’t be as mad as I am.
What has really pissed me off is his use of the #NeverAgain hashtag.
Let's make a deal DO NOT come to Florida for spring break unless gun legislation is passed. These politions won't listen to us so maybe the'll listen to the billion dollar tourism industry in FL. #neveragain

Until Parkland, Never Again was a phrase that was primarily associated with the Holocaust, and was a statement of defiance, that such an event would never happen again. It has been a call for Jews to arm themselves, and fight back against Antisemitic violence and the threat of genocide.
There is a quote from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s, The Gulag Archipelago that really exemplifies the attitude that Never Again has in the mind of many Jews, as well as other victims of Fascist or Communist dictatorships, and our allies.
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.
When the jack boots come to haul us away to camps, fight them. Make them fear every time they knock on a door. That is how we win, and the having guns favors us with the balance of power.
Going to through #NeverAgain is now a call for big goverment to kick in doors and take away ]guns.
The new popularization of Never Again has turned it from a statement of resistance to oppression to calling for oppression.
This is unforgivable.
Surviving such a horrific incident does not give you moral standing to slander people and lie.
He’s a liar and a bully, and he’s got a really punchable face.
He seems pretty “heartbroken” about his classmates whenever he’s partying around on TV and doing the talkshow rounds. /sarc
I heard one of this guy’s interviews on TV. Every single “fact” he relayed was wrong. Every one. Dana Loesch is the CEO of the NRA; Dana “owns” congress and could get any law passed that she wants; the NRA sells guns, and more.
You’re not allowed to tell the kids he’s an ***hole because he has the Aura of Victimhood. Betcha he’s a CNN staffer by the time he graduates.
It’s ridiculous, he’s a liar, vulgar, disrespectful brat even to his elders. Now companies want to back him and not support fox because of him. What has this world come to when people rally behind a 17 year old vulgar lieing brat?
well all I see is when he does go to college then tries to look for a job, all the “actions” that he is doing and taking, the Companies he’s applying at will remember what was said and what he did at this time, is he going to boycott because he’s boss doesn’t give him a raise, they may not want someone who will cause a ruckus and their company, so even that he did go to college, he may not be hired because of all this
